My family and I really enjoyed our stay at this lake house. The home was extremely clean, the game room kept everyone entertained, and the outdoor fire pit made for perfect evenings together. We also appreciated the thoughtful extra touches the hosts provided. A wonderful stay all around — highly recommend!

Great family getaway

Very clean and spacious lakefront home. The location was easy to get to and the host was very welcoming and kind. Would definitely stay here again.

Fun with family

This is a large and spacious home with a great dock and 2 fire pits. The host is very responsive ! Plenty of room to spread out and relax.

We had a wonderful stay. It was very secluded and my kids who are adults loved that the water was so deep at the dock that they could jump in! Plenty of space for our group of eight and 2 toddlers. Just wish we could have fish at night on the dock the lights wouldn’t come on. But everything else was awesome! You will have no worries as the host says at this cabin!

A relaxing few days at the lake.

We had a great time at the Lakehouse! The home worked really well for our family and had all the essentials we needed. We prepared all our meals during our stay, and the kitchen had everything we needed—we grilled most evenings. The house is secluded and clean, providing a peaceful and comfortable setting. We loved spending quality time together playing ping-pong, foosball, and giant Jenga. It was also a lot of fun taking out the kayaks and paddleboard, and relaxing on the dock. The lake was very quiet during our midweek stay, which made it perfect for learning how to kayak and paddleboard.Communication with the owner was easy, and Brian was quick to respond to any questions we had. Check-in and check-out were also simple and hassle-free.

Lake Days!

The host, Brian, was very helpful and quick to respond. The home is located in a beautiful area on Lake Hartwell. My family and I spent the days hanging out on the dock, swimming, paddle boarding, kayaking, and playing water games. In the evening, we made s’mores in the fire pit, played games, and did some night fishing. Overall, the house has everything you need, plus some. We found the beds to be extremely comfortable and the lake toys were tons of fun! It was exactly what we needed. Highly recommend.

The place was nice and surrounded with trees but folks need to know more information about what to expect. We took our pontoon boat and discovered that the driveway is not large enough for anyone to pull down the driveway with a boat behind them. Too narrow to back up it& too small to turn around. It is quite a hike up to the house from the lake( very steep walk way). Now that we are aware of what to expect, we would rent there again.

Lakeside fun!

Our initial plan was to go to back to Orlando like we had last year. Other events precluded that, so my daughter found this house on the lake. The house is gorgeous, the wooded lot lends a feeling of privacy, and access to the dock with kayaks and paddle boards had the grandkids swimming most of the day. When thunder sent us indoors, the downstairs game room provided entertainment and fun for us all. The kitchen was nicely appointed and the dining room table made meals easy. Despite a secluded feeling of the property, dining options were not far. The boys have asked to return next year.

We had a very relaxing 3 days here. Love the woods surrounding the house. Very private. Loved the dock (the path down is a tad steep), Loved the lower-level best (game room/ screened porch). Kitchen well stocked w/ dishes and cookware. Bring your own seasonings/ spices, etc. Very clean. Plenty of towels/ cloths. Enjoyed time around the firepit. Wifi worked well. Went to Toccoa Falls, Tallullah Gorge, Helen, Tugaloo State Park. Loved Toccoa. Clarksville is a nice town. Loved eating at Bells in Toccoa. Favorite spot was just sitting out on the dock enjoying the view and the quiet and nature. Fishing was not good while we were there, but Farmers Almanac said it was poor then. Still fun to cast and enjoy nature anyway. We loved our stay and this home. Thank you Brian for sharing it with us.

Spacious Lake House w/ Dock & Wi-Fi

This lake house was everything we hoped for and more! The pictures on the listing are 100% accurate, but they still don’t fully capture just how magical it feels to sip your morning coffee on the porch overlooking the dock or enjoy breakfast while gazing out over the treetops. The peace and privacy of this place made it feel like our own little retreat, tucked away and set back from the road.The layout was perfect for our group—four adults and two teenage boys. With the master bedroom upstairs and two bedrooms plus a full bath and a fantastic game room downstairs, it was the ideal setup for our stay-up-all-night kids and our early-to-bed crew. Everyone had plenty of space, and having enough bathrooms was a huge plus!We spent hours fishing off the dock (caught a 3-pounder!) and only saw one neighbor the whole time—so peaceful and private. Whether you're looking for quiet mornings, fun family time, or a home base that brings generations together, this lake house delivers.Highly recommend—we’re already talking about when we can come back!
You will love unwinding on this patio- I saved you a seat.
Lake Hartwell does NOT disappoint.
