Big Bear Micro Cabin with loft at Spotted Bear Retreat

  • Enjoy comfortable king size bed in a studio layout, kitchenette including microwave and single burner cooktop, ladder access to a cozy, small loft with a double bed. This sweet micro cabin is only 10 miles from the west entrance to Glacier National Park. Located in Martin City, MT, it's just a short 5 mile drive to Hungry Horse Reservoir and very close to many other fun local attractions and dining.

    *Warning! Loft has a low ceiling and access is very steep, use with caution!

    *Note! Due to space constraints in the micro cabin the shower is smaller than average.

Great Little Cabin!

The cabin was perfect for our short trip to visit the park. The provided amenities were appreciated and the bed was very comfortable. Would definitely stay here again.

Just a 10 minute drive to Glacier NP, this was the perfect, affordable, and adorable little place to stay! The owner, John, was really helpful and attentive when needed (although we try to remain low maintenance). We loved it here!

Immaculately clean and well supplied. Great location in a quiet area--10 minutes from GNP. The bed was very comfortable! Owner was very responsive and helpful.The only other thing we would have liked was extra wash cloths!

Great location and the perfect size for a short stay near Glacier. All the amenities you need and a very comfy bed! I also have to thank the host who immediately helped me out when the key to the door fell through the porch cracks. Would stay here again!

Close to the park!

This was perfect for us going to Glacier National Park. Great for 2 people. Only reason we are giving 4 stars is because we hit our head on the door frame inside as well as hit the shelf by the bed just because the space is small. It’s cozy and perfect for a couple of nights in this area though!

Cute! Would stay again

No complaints, great location and super affordable. John was super responsive as a host. There are a few other rental homes on the property but I never crossed paths with the other guests and felt private the whole time.

Very neat and clean; everything worked great. Guests might want to know that there is not seating inside other than on the bed. We had a very comfortable time there!

Nice, cozy and very clean. The cabin is small but has absolutely everything you could possibly need. It was very nice to come back to after a long day on the trails. John is a great host, very responsive. Thank you for making our stay very comfortable.

Lovely, clean, and quiet

We had an awesome time staying at this property. Check in was easy, the house matched the description, and you can’t beat the short drive to Glacier. I was really impressed with John’s communication and he even left us some firewood at our request. This is a perfect place to stay if you want comfort, quiet, and proximity to Glacier. Highly recommended!

AMAZING!

Incredibly clean and such a nice, cozy setup. Located close to the West entrance of Glacier National Park. Owner provided everything you would need for a comfortable stay, including clean dishes. Netflix provided if you wanted to settle down before bed. Friendly owner/host.

Pretty decent

Decent place, but it’s small. A big bed. The shower is extremely tiny and so is the bathroom sink. No place to have a bonfire. Close to the park.
