Cedar Cabin located on a working Buffalo Farm near the Buffalo National River

  • Clean, comfortable cedar cabin WITH A HOT TUB on the back deck.( Very pet friendly). Located on a 500 acre buffalo and cattle farm. 640 square feet, with large back deck overlooking the buffalo farm. 2 bedroom with a double bed in each bedroom. Living room has a hide a bed in one couch. Comfortable sleeps up to 6. Full kitchen fully furnished, washer and dryer. All pavement road access . Large front yard for the kids to play, Fire pit and picnic tables. All located in the beautiful Ozark Mountains 6 miles east of Marshall, AR. Plenty of things to do for the whole family. Only 20 minutes from the Buffalo River , less than an hour and a half from Branson ,Mo. and only 10 minutes from one of the last old fashioned drive in theaters . The host was great. He took our grandkids on a tour of the farm and let them feed the animals. They loved it. The cabin is well stocked and the hot tub was a great way to relax at the end of the day after exploring the river.

Wonderful stay at Ratchford Farms

My family enjoyed our stay at the cabin. The owner is very attentive and welcoming. We especially enjoyed touring the farm. Nice place and close to the Buffalo River.

Retreat

Had a blast spending quality time away from the hustle and bustle of everyday life and got to tour one of the most amazing legacy farms with great history. Very spiritually fulfilling.

Very friendly!

It was a quaint little cabin with wonderful hosts. We bought steaks from them and grilled them and they were so good! They took us on a tour of his farm and it was very cool and just good ole country folk. We enjoyed our stay! We fed the animals and even got cuddles with some.

Cozy cabin

Owner gave us a nice tour of the farm and was responsive. The cabin was comfortable and we enjoyed looking at the stars from the hot tub.

Beautiful area with a lovely, relaxing cabin

We had a really nice stay at this cabin. Check-in and check-out were very simple, and the tour of the farm Robin gave us was delightful. We loved the back patio and all the amenities. Many thanks to L.C. and Robin for a lovely holiday. We will definitely be back!

Exceptional Stay

The entire place is absolutely stunning. Regardless of which cabin you pick, you'll enjoy your stay. You can tell the owner LC loves what he does, and it shows. From the exotic animals to his family's own breed of cattle, my family had an amazing time with the tour. I highly recommend this place

Ratchford Buffalo Farms and Rentals

LC is the manager and is a very gracious and attentive man who makes sure you are having a wonderful and comfortable stay. The tour of his Buffalo ranch is a fantastic experience! I highly recommend the stay at his cabins and I would give 10 stars if I could!❤️

Great location and excellent property managers

This was a very fun way to spend Thanksgiving as a family. The owners are wonderful and gave a tour of the farm and we even got to feed animals. We are planning to go back in the summer when we will be able to spend more time hiking exploring and going to the river.

Peacefull

We really enjoyed LC and the tour of the ranch. LC even gave us an extra tour when more kids and grandchildren came to visit. Kids loved feeding the animals and got ice cream at the end of the tour.

Everything was as expected & described! Mr. JC checked in with us to make sure we made it.

Minutes from the local grocery store. 12-15 minutes from the Buffalo River. Perfect place to stay if you’re planning a float trip!

Great place to stay.

The cabin is located on a working Buffalo Farm near the Buffalo National River. The host was very friendly and helpful. The interior walls and ceiling are made of cedar and are very pretty. It was a great experience staying there. I would recommend this place to anyone and will consider staying there again. John and Brenda

Perfect getaway

The cabin is comfortable and peaceful. Check-in was incredibly easy. The owner is a PERFECT host. We got to play with a baby water buffalo and interact with several other animals. The cabin is nice and the host makes it a unique and memorable experience. The tour of the farm was so much fun. I would definitely stay again.

Great stay

The place was very clean. The property owner was friendly and helpful. Close to Marshall and Leslie both and to the Buffalo River and business associated with floating the river. 10 min from the local drive-in. We truly enjoyed our stay and plan to use these properties again.
