not what we expected
The property (compound) was loverly, mostly well maintained, private and, safe. The onsite caretaker (Willie) is a gentleman and was helpful to the extent of his authority. Same goes for the off-site contact, Angela, who was sweet and responsive.There was no in-room TV. Make sure you insist on good WiFi (we waited a day or so). No in-room filtered water. In many ways, the property was very special. In other ways, it was a disappointment ( our room being excluded from amenities) for the price as compared to other high-end resorts in we stayed at during our stay throughout the Abacos. Perhaps oou expectations for a romantic private cottage stay were too high. Others may find the experience perfect. Much of it was that. The owners made some monetary concessions. The staff we encountered were professional. In the overall, I guess I'm not a VRBO-AirB&B kind of guy, so take my review from that perspective.
