Wonderful view of the Med and Cassis

This was a wonderful apartment with nice patio and great view of the Mediterranean and the Cassis harbor. It was a very well equipped kitchen with the basic herbs and spices as well as coffee, etc. Patrick, the owner was very hospitable and helped us on several occasions as well as took us on a tour overlooking the area.

Absolutely amazing.

We just returned from three wonderful weeks in France and the highlight of the entire trip was our visit to Cassis and meeting Patrick. We were picked up at the train station because we had not rented a car and used our Eurarail Pass the entire time, The property is in a beautiful location on a hill overlooking the town and port, and the view from the balcony is amazing. Every comfort you could need is in the flat including a Nepresso coffee machine. Patrick took us on a tour of the area that we never would have seen without a car. He also managed to get us reservations at an amazing restaurant called l'presqu'ile (excellent) overlooking the water. Truly, without Patrick our trip would not been as great as it was. He deserves 10 stars instead of 5 !!

Nice weekend close to the calanques

Flat is spacious and clean. 10 min walk from town center. Building is rather old, badly insulated and close to the road (lots of cars passing by). Patrick is a great host, giving tips on where to go and really nice to talk to. Very nice view.

Nice stay in Cassis

We enjoy the stay in the Appartment very much. Everything in the Appartment was fine and Patrick was very kind. It was close to a big street what was a little bit disturbing. The view was very beautiful and Cassis is very nice. You can walk down the hill to the center of Cassis in 10-15 Minutes. We can recommend the Appartment.

Wonderful stay in Cassis with spectacular view.

My wife and I had a great trip to Cassis thanks to Patrick and his wonderful apartment rental. The description is totally accurate. The views are incredible from both the bedroom, terrace and living room of the harbor of Cassis. We loved having our breakfast out on the terrace and watching the beautiful sunsets. You can park at the property and it's a short walk into town. The spacious apartment is very clean, tastefully furnished in a modern style with comfortable beds and has a well stocked kitchen. The owner, Patrick, is very helpful and available to answer any questions and offer recommendations in the area. We hope to return for another stay.

Wonderful views, spacious apartment

Patrick was a wonderful host who both picked us up from the train station and returned us when our stay was completed. He carefully explained every detail of the property and answered all our questions. The view of the town and sea from the property was stunning, the town was charming, and the nearby Calanques were beautiful. Overall, we had a wonderful stay and would highly recommend

A beautiful view in Cassis

Stunning views over the port and out to sea. The apartment was spacious and comfortable. A bus stop was within easy walking distance for those who wish to avoid the uphill walk from the port. Patrick was a gracious host, who kindly provided transportation to and from the train station.

Très bel appartement avec vue magnifique, fonctionnel et bien situé. Propriétaire très accueillant

Séjour de 3 nuits dans ce très bel appartement, très bien équipé (sauf lave-vaisselle) et très propre. Grand balcon d'où la vue est à couper le souffle ! Appartement bien situé, proche du centre ville à pied. Pas besoin de prendre la voiture si on aime marcher (pour revenir du centre-ville, ça monte bien donc il vaut mieux être en forme. Il y a des marches donc sans doute difficile avec une poussette). L'immeuble est au bord d'une route bien passante (qu'il fait traverser pour aller en ville, sans passage piéton, un peu compliqué) donc c'est assez bruyant mais cela était précisé dans les commentaires donc nous n'avons pas été surpris, et on dort bien quand même ! Merci à Patrick pour son accueil très chaleureux! Je recommande !

Week-end end en amoureux avec vue sur la grande bleue !

Un appartement avec une vue époustouflante et à quelques minutes à pieds du centre de Cassis et des calanques de Port Miou, Port Pin et d'En Vaux. Patrick est un hôte très disponible, accueil impeccable et de très bons conseils pour guider sur les visites alentours. Nous avons passé un très sympathique WE !

Très belle vue et à seulement 800 m du centre-ville

Parfaite communication avec Patrick, à l’écoute et très agréable. Logement confortable, fonctionnel et de qualité avec vue splendide sur tout Cassis, le château, la mer, les collines, un plaisir de manger sur le balcon en admirant tout cela ! Petit chemin certes escarpé (Cassis est bâtie tout autour d’une cuvette donnant sur la mer) mais qui amène directement au centre, d’où l’on peut ensuite partir randonner vers les 3 calanques. Très satisfaits de notre séjour !

Wat een uitzicht!

Keurig, modern ingericht en schoon appartement met een geweldig uitzicht! Van alle gemakken voorzien! (Enige minpuntje misschien: geen vaatwasser, maar deze hebben wij persoonlijk niet gemist). Met zo'n uitzicht ontbijten en dineren.... zo mooi! Zelfs als het donker is en je alle lichtjes ziet... Heerlijk bed en ook vanuit de slaapkamer een prachtig zicht op de baai. Geweldig wakker worden zo! De haven met prachtige gekleurde huisjes, het centrum en het stadsstrand (druk bezocht kiezelstrandje) is op loopafstand evenals een bakker en supermarkt. Het is een wandeling van zo'n 10 minuten. Een boottocht langs de ' 8 calanques' van 90 minuten is een aanrader! Helaas voor ons was de 'Route des crêtes' (van Cassis naar La Ciotat) gesloten i.v.m. bosbrandgevaar. Dit is een klif weg met op zo'n 7 punten een geweldig uitzicht op zee / de kustlijn (middels kleine wandeling / klim te bereiken - dan even auto parkeren). Wij waren hier met onze 2 zoons van 15 en 12 jaar. Zij sliepen op een slaapbank (hotelkwaliteit!) in de woonkamer en wij in de slaapkamer. Patrick is een enthousiaste gastheer. Het was een warm welkom: de bedden waren opgemaakt, water lag gekoeld in de koelkast en er was koffie en thee aanwezig . Patrick stond ons bij het begin van de weg op te wachten en had een parkeerplek voor ons 'gereserveerd'. Erg fijn! Patrick, bedankt voor je gastvrijheid en goede tips! Super dat je ons voor slechts 1 nachtje wilde ontvangen (normaal min. 2 overnachtingen, vandaar). We hebben van ons verblijf genoten en zullen je zeker ook aanbevelen bij onze vrienden. En wie weet, tot ziens!

Séjour très bruyant

Notre séjour s’est bien passé niveau activités par contre nous avons étaient très dessus de l’emplacement car malgré une très belle vue, l’appartement est très bruyant tout d’abord par l’avenue qui est très très passante nuit et jour et car cet appartement est très mal insonorisé car en plus d’entendre les voitures nuit et jour ont entendaient aussi les voisins très bruyant (ont les entendaient comme si on était tous dans le même appartement) franchement 11 nuits qui n’ont pas étaient de tout repos…

Vacances en amoureux

Accueil tres chaleureux de Patrick qui s'est montré disponible et de bons conseils tout le long de notre séjour. L'appartement est propre avec des installations de qualité, tout confort bien équipé et la vue splendide depuis le balcon donnant sur la mer et la ville. C'est idyllique pour le petit déjeuner et prendre un verre en appréciant le coucher de soleil.

Très agréable séjour

Nous avons passé quatre jours au sein du bel appartement de Patrick. C'est un hôte très sympathique et de bons conseils pour les différentes activités à faire. L'appartement est totalement conforme à l'annonce, bien décoré et fonctionnel avec une magnifique vue sur Cassis. Si jamais vous souhaitez aller en centre-ville à pied il faudra tout de même prévoir de bonnes baskets car la montée est rude ! Seul bémol, la route qu'il faut traverser pour rejoindre la ville, qui est sans passage piéton et énormément traversée par les voitures. Sinon tout était parfait.

Autumn romance

Overall, our experience was completely satisfying and enjoyable. The property was as advertised..very clean, efficient, with just about anything you would need for a comfortable stay. Multiple stores, including a vegetable/ fruit market, a meat/fish/condiments establishment, a boulangerie, pharmacy, a pizza/burger eat in/take out, a restaurant, a gas station, and a local vineyard are either a short walk or a short drive away. Patrick, the owner, was very hospitable, showing us the ins and outs of the property, as well as providing a walking tour of the port. Throughout our stay he was very conscientious and responsive to our questions and needs. The property itself offers an panoramic view of the port, the hills of Cassis and of course the Mediterranean. When not exploring Cassis and the surrounding area, we spent as much time as possible on the balcony monitoring the changing moods and personality of the Mediterranean. Just fascinating to watch the sea’s changing colors, wind blown waves, the regimen of fishing boats coming and going, and the affect of the sunshine/moon glow on the surface of the water....just mesmerizing! We should also mention that we took advantage of swimming at Bestouan Beach. The water was crystal clear and refreshing. There is a municipal parking lot conveniently adjacent with reasonable rates. A 20 minute walk from the beach are the picturesque Calanques, a site not to be missed. We would highly recommend this property, a gem overlooking and yet so close, to wonderful Cassis.

Accueil très agréable de la part de la fille de l’hôte. Ce sont des personnes très agréables et disponibles qui savent répondre à toutes nos attentes et qui proposent des activités et des visites avec grand plaisir. Séjour fantastique dans cet appartement très charmant et surtout magnifiquement situé avec une vue mer incroyable ainsi qu’une vue sur le château de cassis. Appartement très propre et très bien conçu les matériaux utilisés sont de très bonne qualité. Arrivée autonome ce qui facilite énormément les choses.
