Joe is the ideal host, readily available, quick to respond, and extending warmth and welcome. We always recommend going to his food truck on the property too--delicious BBQ! Cannot recommend Joe as a host or this property highly enough. Truly a joy to stay there every time!"

"The mountains of North Carolina are for the soul!!! Choosing this rustic, away from the hubbub, down the gravel road getaway was perfect for recharging, reminiscing, relaxing and spending time with old friends who don’t NEED bougie to have a good time!The hot tub was so nice after a day of hiking and the beds were extremely comfortable for a night of rest! We visited the pool one day for a refreshing cool down and met some lovely residents! If you want a great burger, we recommend Stacks in Mars...

"We did a long weekend here and had a great time. Plenty of space for everyone, lots to do and a great location to different hikes and attractions. The host was very responsive and helpful! "Cabin is beautiful, clean, confortable, all whats needed one only suggestion is fix the driveway qith asfalt it will definitely help when ice road and when renting to people from.other states not everyone has a 4wd or snaow snow tyres."

Far enough away that you get to get away from it all and dive into nature, but close enough to be able to seek out the culture of Asheville and surrounding areas. The communication from the owners was great and informative and the house was comfy and well-appointed. We wanted to stay longer."
