Nestled in the heart of the beautiful Municipality of Chester our cottage is walking distance to the Chester connection trail and just a short distance to Sensea spa, golfing, beaches and downtown Chester plus so much more that the South Shore has to offer. Take the Oak Island treasure tour, relax on a hammock or stay cozied up inside with a book next to the woodstove and then fall asleep to the sound of the river. Whether you're planning a romantic getaway, family vacation or connecting with friends you will leave feeling refreshed and rejuvenated.
    Due to the tenancy laws in Nova Scotia maximum stay should not exceed 28 nights.

Great host! Everything was seamless, well-organized, even our favourite coffee provided! The house was very clean and she thought of literally everything!

Very cute cottage. Immaculate and very well stocked. Loved our stay. We enjoyed listening to the sound of the running river but it was not accessible

Pixie enjoyed herself lots of places for her to sniff and roll around outside. And she loved the walking trail near by.

This place is a hidden gem. It has character, it is nicely decorated reflecting the local charm. It feels cozy and relaxing. It has fresh linen, plenty of bath towels, has a very well equipped kitchen, all appliances and the entire cottage were spotless clean. It is pet friendly which was first our main criteria for selecting it. The soundings are nice, the river is a plus and you are only 15-20 min drive distance from few nice beaches. Chester is quiet you are not on the beaten path of Peggy's Cove or Lunenburg. If you like quiet places, this is for you. The guidelines were very clear and helpful. We stayed 3 nights and I would like to return. Thank you for this pleasant experience.
