Perfect beach cottage for all seasons! Marquette is a nature lovers paradise, and the views from this precious beach cottage won’t disappoint! It is perfectly clean, well appointed, well maintained, and the local owners are very responsive. It is apparent that this little gem is loved by all who stay there, and the owners are eager for your stay to be a lovely experience. Our family can’t wait to make more great memories here again soon!

Once again, a fantastic stay! This is an absolute gem of a house and the location is perfect. This trip we saw an amazing sunrise and an absolutely surreal sunset with a rainbow and beautifully vivid pink clouds. We also saw surfers and collected more beach glass for our collection. Marquette is a lovely town and we can't wait to come back again!!!

This was our second time staying at the beach house and once again, it did not disappoint. This is one of my very favorite rental homes and I’ve rented quite a few in the last 10 years. Greg and Kate are amazing hosts who are so generous in opening up their beautiful properties to others. Graduation Weekend Trip

I booked our family trip for the NMU graduation weekend. The home is right on the beach and provides great views of Lake Superior. Downtown Marquette is only a 20-minute walk. The home also has a very nice dining area, where we used to have a home-cooked dinner for the graduation celebration. The owners provided a welcome basket of items from local vendors, which was greatly appreciated. There is a foosball table that we used for a fun family tournament. Communication with Greg and Kate was very responsive. We would highly recommend staying here, and we will look to book another vacation with Greg and Kate when we return to Marquette.

Perfect Winter Getaway with Stunning Views

Five of our family visited to spend time with our two young adults attending NMU, and this home was absolutely perfect for our weekend stay. The house had plenty of space, beautiful decor, and great character. The fireplace made for a cozy retreat in the winter weather, and the upstairs tub was perfect for a relaxing soak.We loved sipping coffee at the kitchen table while taking in the breathtaking views. The large dining room table was perfect for meals and game nights with our group. Walking on the snowy beach right out front was a unique and fun experience. We had everything we needed for cooking, and the well-stocked kitchen made meal prep easy.Watching the dog sled teams depart was a highlight of our trip, and the views of the water, snow, and ice were simply stunning. Thank you for sharing this amazing home with us—we couldn’t have asked for a better stay!

Great beach House of you love the outdoors

On the beach, walking distance to downtown can't get a better location only complaint is the stairs going upstairs are dangerous! Other than that the stay and house are amazing for a group of 5!

Everything you could ask for

The house is in the perfect location for anyone who wants to stay active or who wants to lay low in the house/on the beach(or flip flop to either depending on the day). Our trip included sea glass hunting every day, swimming on hot calm days, a lighting storm over the water, beautiful sunrises, exploring town and Presque Isle and even watching surfers ride the crashing waves. (Which really was amazing to watch both from the beach and the comfort of the house) The house has everything you need and the beds are amazingly comfortable and perfect for a good nights’ sleep after a long day of doing everything or doing nothing at all. We can’t wait to come back again!
