Graduation Weekend Trip

I booked our family trip for the NMU graduation weekend. The home is right on the beach and provides great views of Lake Superior. Downtown Marquette is only a 20-minute walk. The home also has a very nice dining area, where we used to have a home-cooked dinner for the graduation celebration. The owners provided a welcome basket of items from local vendors, which was greatly appreciated. There is a foosball table that we used for a fun family tournament. Communication with Greg and Kate was very responsive. We would highly recommend staying here, and we will look to book another vacation with Greg and Kate when we return to Marquette.

Perfect Winter Getaway with Stunning Views

Five of our family visited to spend time with our two young adults attending NMU, and this home was absolutely perfect for our weekend stay. The house had plenty of space, beautiful decor, and great character. The fireplace made for a cozy retreat in the winter weather, and the upstairs tub was perfect for a relaxing soak.We loved sipping coffee at the kitchen table while taking in the breathtaking views. The large dining room table was perfect for meals and game nights with our group. Walking on the snowy beach right out front was a unique and fun experience. We had everything we needed for cooking, and the well-stocked kitchen made meal prep easy.Watching the dog sled teams depart was a highlight of our trip, and the views of the water, snow, and ice were simply stunning. Thank you for sharing this amazing home with us—we couldn’t have asked for a better stay!

Fall Stay

Excellent place for the family during our long weekend in Marquette. Close to downtown and right on the bike path. There is no place else in the area that provides the view of the Lake. Would definitely stay again.

Great beach House of you love the outdoors

On the beach, walking distance to downtown can't get a better location only complaint is the stairs going upstairs are dangerous! Other than that the stay and house are amazing for a group of 5!

Everything you could ask for

The house is in the perfect location for anyone who wants to stay active or who wants to lay low in the house/on the beach(or flip flop to either depending on the day). Our trip included sea glass hunting every day, swimming on hot calm days, a lighting storm over the water, beautiful sunrises, exploring town and Presque Isle and even watching surfers ride the crashing waves. (Which really was amazing to watch both from the beach and the comfort of the house) The house has everything you need and the beds are amazingly comfortable and perfect for a good nights’ sleep after a long day of doing everything or doing nothing at all. We can’t wait to come back again!

Location location location

House sits on one of Lake Superior’s most beautiful and user-friendly beaches. (Too bad for you rock hounds but heaven for walkers, swimmers, children and volleyball players!) Proximity to town, mult-use path, parks, bike shop unmatched. Back of house, facing beach, filled with light and views. House is an eclectic mix of rooms-as one would expect from its 100 years plus age. Lots of charm. Owners responsive to communication.

Great Home with stunning views

Greg & Kate’s home in MQT is wonderful. The home was clean and we were immediately greeted with a welcome basket and a note on their chalkboard. This is our 6th summer up to MQT, and their home is a favorite spot thus far. The location is great to walk to downtown- and a quick drive to Presque Isle. But the view of Lake Superior is something spectacular. The sunrise each morning was beautiful. If we lived here I’d park myself in the kitchen 24/7 for the view. Do yourselves a favor and book this cozy home in a great spot! Thanks for the stay!
