Our family of 5 really enjoyed this property! Private and quiet. Away from light pollution so the dark skies were amazing! Exactly what we were looking for. It was so sweet to be greeted by Oliver and French Fry everyday. And Eddie the cat was a sweetheart. House was clean and beds were comfortable. Great location for access to Yosemite. Would definitely stay here again!

My family and I loved staying at this home! The property had amazing views and we really enjoyed watching all the wildlife right outside the window. My kids especially loved the cat. The house was well stocked and had everything we needed to have a comfortable stay!

Was extremely dissatisfied with how horrible the air conditioner was, would not go below like 69 and even then did not cool the house whatsoever. Also, the picture of the pool on the listing was NOT the pool actually at the house. When I asked the owner about this, they stated that the pool had been changed out. If this is the case, then update the listing to show this. Another thing is this listing showed to be around 30 minutes from Yosemite national Park, but that is a blatant lie and the actual entrance to Yosemite is about an hour away. One of the sinks in the master bathroom does not work. The one big plus and good thing about this day was the sweet cat that lives out under the front porch.

Sehr schönes Haus mit riesigem Grundstück. Große Veranda, Pool, Whirlpool, Spielplatz, Grill usw. Sehr gepflegt und comfortabel. Alles war sauber und die Küche ist sehr gut ausgestattet. Gerne wären wir länger geblieben. Ich kann das Haus nur weiterempfehlen.

The Yosemite Pines Retreat was excellent for our family of 6! Beth was a friendly, responsive hostess. The kitchen is well-stocked with any utensil you may need. The pool, hot tub, fire pit, cornhole, ping-pong were all used every day! It was the perfect retreat after long hiking days. Downtown Mariposa is charming and we ate at some great restaurants!

This was a perfect home base for our activities at Yosemite. After hiking and adventuring, we were able to come back here, relax, and spend quality time soaking in the quiet and serenity of the rural location. We hope to return for another adventure, soon!

5 stars!

We’re return visitors to Beth’s property for almost ten years! We tend to book the next trip before we leave and always wish we had more days to stay. Our kids enjoyed the pool, grassy yard to play in and catching frogs, seeing bunnies & deer and visiting ponies practically in the front yard. Zero complaints.

Hidden Gem

Spacious and peaceful property, just 15 minutes from town—so plan ahead. The host was friendly and responsive when we needed anything. A few minor issues kept it from being a 5-star, but overall we had a great time. Our girls especially loved the pool and warm pool—they could’ve stayed in it all day!

Kinda funky

Kitchen well equipped to serve and cook for 6. We were missing a baking sheet, but Beth ran over with one in minutes! Did not like square dining table that was pub height. Main bedroom only had an armoire - no closet. No wood- burning fireplace use allowed. Recliners on main sofa mostly non functioning. Property is an older modular home, floors very uneven and the home, while has some upgrades, had evidence of needed repairs/maintenance. Several items were somewhat dangerous - slippery shower floor and very slippery deck when icy. The area is a bit remote - 15 minutes from a town - but lovely. Had a great trip.

Totally awesome stay!

We just wish we had booked for more nights!! Thank you so much Beth, we hope to return some time. Drive to Yosemite is amazing, it took us around 90mins, but either way is very beautiful. We had two wonderful days in the park, and we all loved coming back to Beth’s house, which was very homely, spacious and well equipped. The children in particular loved the nature, including the deer, ponies and the horses! Sadly our car rental failed to start on our first day, but Beth and team were able to help us start the car and give us jump leads should it happen again. We can’t thank her enough.

An amazing space and beautiful getaway

What a private and truly rural spot. However, this home has all the amenities you need. It’s just an hour to Yosemite and is such a beautiful drive that you won’t mind it. We don’t have young children but admired the set up for them. The jacuzzi was so needed after hiking upper Yosemite falls and that sky was priceless!! The stars were stunning and awe inspiring. There is a very friendly cat named Eddie who greets you and you likely will see the family of deer that sneak around. It’s just a lovely experience. Thank you for allowing us to share such a peaceful space.

Wunderschönes Haus

Es war ein perfekter Aufenthalt und ein wunderschönes und sauberes Haus. Es ist für alles gesorgt und wir haben die Terrasse mit grillen von Marshmallows am Abend sehr genossen. Absolut ruhig und wundervoll gelegen. Wir wären sehr gerne länger geblieben und die Zeit war viel zu kurz. Vielen lieben Dank für diesen wundervollen Aufenthalt.

Amazingly Clean!

One of the cleanest properties I have ever stayed at! It smelled fresh and clean the second we stepped through the front door. It is a spacious home with lots of room to spread out both inside and out. The kids loved the pool! You have everything you need in a very workable and well-stocked kitchen. We really enjoyed our stay there and hope to stay there again in the years to come.

5 night holiday stay

We had a lovely 5 night stay - we really enjoyed our time there. Spotlessly clean property. Very peaceful location. Pool, basketball, hot tub, table tennis all great. Lovely little horses. Deck area lovely to sit out on. Lots of sitting space inside also. Master bedroom with lovely en suite. It is 1 to 1.5 hours from principal Yosemite locations, but easy drives
