This is our 7th year staying at this property, and it truly never disappoints. The space is perfect for relaxing, with an amazing fireplace and everything you need for a comfortable stay. I always get the best sleep here! The hot tub is a definite bonus …quiet, peaceful, and so enjoyable. We keep coming back year after year for a reason. Highly recommend!

We were looking for a cabin within an hour drive to Yosemite. We hit the jackpot with the Bear Creek Cabin. Our first impression was "wow this is so nice" as we unpacked and cooked dinner, it felt like home. It was clean, comfortable, very tastefully decorated and up to date. We cooked every night and the kitchen was well stocked (lots of spices) and utensils. The appliances were clean and up to date. The furniture is very comfortable and the property is beautiful. We sat outside on the patio and with a glass of wine and it was so peaceful and relaxing. The hot tub works great as well. I loved the mud room (I wish I had one now). If our travel bring us back to this area, I would look forward to staying there. The host was spot on with communication. I felt very comfortable checking in with her when I had questions and she was quick to respond.

Easily one of the best places I’ve stayed! Very clean, very quiet, and very secluded…everything I was hoping for. Had some nice down time from all the hiking in the park and saw a bunch of shooting stars sitting in the hot tub. I can’t recommend this place enough!

Bear Creek Cabin was lovely and so comfortable. The bedding was great and the kitchen was fully stocked with great pots and pans and the grill was in great shape. We also enjoyed the hot tub. We went to Yosemite everyday which was about an hour ride to the closest gates. If you are staying here, you have to go to Yosemite. It’s absolutely magnificent. We also went to Bass Lake, Mariposa, and on the Sugar Pibe railroad. We had a fabulous time and will definitely be back. Thank you so much for sharing your beautiful home.Steve and Carolyn

Beautiful property. Great hiking/biking and relaxong around the priperty. The cabin is perfect, great to cook. Relax and spend time with friends or family. Close drive to Yosemite following along the rivers. Host were great and twke care of their property. Side note: If you do come, make sure to also go visit and try the Mariposa Coffee Co.

Hidden Gem in the hills

This place is a wonderful private getaway. Easy to find with the gos taking us right to the front door. Well lit parking spaces for night time arrivals. The parks are an easy hour drive so if you’re wanting to explore Yosemite and don’t mind a little drive this is a great alternative to all the commotion that comes with staying in the park. The beds are comfy and the place feels like a home not a hotel.

Wonderful!

The property is exactly as pictured and described. This cozy, homey mountain getaway was everything my family and my dogs needed. We did not need anything that wasn’t already provided by the hosts. The property offered plenty of space to roam and hike and let our dogs run free ans wild. The proximity to Yosemite was perfect as well. We were able to use the Western and Southern entrances to the park at the same distance from the cabin. We will be back!

Great trip to Yosemite

Location was great for our trip to Yosemite. Property had everything we needed and was perfect for relaxing after a long day of hiking. The town of Mariposa is small but has plenty of great places to eat.

Peaceful Property

We rented this cabin along with the Eastwood Ravine. The property was beautiful and served as a basecamp to Yosemite! Beautiful views and immaculately kept. Would stay again! Highly recommend!

Wonderful stay at Yosemite cabin

The cabin was comfortable and cozy. We had everything we needed (and more). It was nicely furnished and instructions for our stay were clear and concise. We enjoyed the hot tub, roasting marshmallows over the fire and even teaching our (LA) granddaughter how to play baseball! Oh, and horseshoes! We will definitely return!

Couldn’t have been better.

The cabin was spectacular. We feel lucky to have been able to experience it, and it will forever be a positive memory. In my opinion, perfect distance to Yosemite. The barbecue, fire pit, hot tub, were all amenities that we were able to use. Everything was in great working condition and added to the positive experience. It was great to throw the frisbee around for our dog on the large property. The trails on the property were awesome. Definitely will recommend to friends and family.
