Incredible house surrounded by amazing wildlife

Had an excellent time staying at this property! Views are incredible and wildlife viewing opportunities are unparalleled! We saw a black bear mother and two cubs pass by twice during our stay. Will absolutely be coming back!

Amazing place

Absolutely Unforgettable Forest Getaway!This cabin was truly one-of-a-kind—perched at the top of the mountain, surrounded by breathtaking forest views. It felt like the last house before the sky begins! The nature around us was stunning, and the home itself was incredibly clean, cozy, and fully equipped with everything we needed for a relaxing and fun stay. The balcony was a highlight—beautiful, peaceful, and the perfect place to unwind. Debbie, the host, was extremely kind, welcoming, and attentive. My family, friends, and I had an amazing time and made unforgettable memories. We’re deeply grateful and will definitely return to this magical place again!

Great Stay!

Wow, what a great house. 10 adults all slept comfortably with plenty of space in the open kitchen/living room to hangout. The views from the deck were amazing and the hot tub stargazing did not disappoint. The host was super communicative and made everything so easy. Will definitely stay here again!

It's Awesome "At the Top"

A group of 8 friends had a magnificent time at the gorgeous home "At the Top." The views are amazing and just like Debbie said, watching the fog change around you throughout the day is peaceful and beautiful. Debbie is the most gracious and generous host I have ever had the pleasure of working with. She assured us that if we needed anything she was close by and to call. We didn't need to because everything was in tip top shape and so perfect. The kitchen was really well stocked and everything was super clean. Three of our adult children joined us for 1 of the nights and the house was great space for all 11 of us. We enjoyed the pool table and doing yoga and playing games on the deck. The hot tub was wonderful. Debbie left a pie in the freezer for us and some treats in our rooms to welcome us. We loved the area waterfalls and hikes and we look forward to returning to the beautiful home with the gorgeous views.

At the Top Visit

Spacious home with an incredible view

Awesome Retreat & Amazing Views

I have been traveling the NC Mountains for years and this home hands down has the most incredible view of anywhere I have ever stayed. The home was well equipped in the kitchen, everything worked and the home was very clean. Debbie was amazing to work with and communicated extremely well with me before, during and after our stay. We greatly enjoyed our retreat!

Amazing experience!

Fantastic stay all around…the owner Debbie was so responsive and made us feel so special when we arrived…the special touches and personalization were more than we’ve ever experienced at a VRBO! A personalized note welcomed us, and she left us special treats around the cabin. The cabin and amenities are top notch…the aesthetic of the decor, the high quality of everything in the cabin, the outdoor space with hot tub, sitting area on the deck around the propane fire pit, the wood burning fire pit below, and the VIEW from the deck!!!! She even helped get our favorite grill pan back in our hands when we accidentally left it behind. We will definitely be back…thank you for sharing your little slice of heaven Debbie!

Debbie is a fabulous host. Excellent communication throughout our experience. The view is priceless - building the house in its current location is just short of an engineering marvel. Amazing stay and amazing hosts!

We had a great time staying here! The house was perfect for our big family and we loved hanging out on the deck and enjoying the view. I loved the welcoming bottle of wine and other thoughtful touches. The host was quick to respond and they even replaced the living room TV the same day it stopped working. Amazing! Long distance family get together

Our hosts made our stay absolutely wonderful! They thought of every need and fulfilled it ahead of time. Very communicative both before and during our stay. The property itself has stunning views and inside is spacious, clean and inviting. The main room (kitchen/dining/living) was perfect for all ten of us to spend time cooking, chatting, and playing games. I would highly recommend the property and our hosts!

Great family trip

We visited for my father in law’s 70th birthday. Ages 2-70 and all had a great time. Very clean and well cared for property. Property housed us well, 7 adults and 4 kids. The view is unbelievable! Our stay "At The Top"

Our group of seven had a great week's stay at this property. The cabin style was wonderful, accommodations very comfortable, instructions for hot tub, TV/DVR etc. well thought out. Kitchen well outfitted. Tons of movies for viewing. The Vrbo pics from the upper deck simply don't do justice to the view. It was incredible. The owners were very responsive to our questions. Overall outstanding visit; highly recommended!

Best Family vacation.

The home was everything we hoped for and more! Plenty of room for all 10 multi generational family members to gather and also sneak away for some alone time. The views were nothing short of spectacular. We took beautiful family pictures to remind us of this very special vacation. Perfect getaway

Photos can’t begin to capture the incredible views of this lovely home. It felt like the mountains were wrapping all around us. Breathtaking! The home itself was very well equipped, clean, beautifully decorated and laid out so well for families of all sizes. The owners were very professional and made us feel right at home.
