  • This newly built deltec home sits in the heart of the North
    Carolina high country. Just a few hundred yards off the Blue Ridge
    Parkway, it is both very privately accessed on a well maintained gravel lane and yet very convenient to access west North Carolina's most popular attractions. Wheather
    you want a quiet place to spend a relaxing mountain vacation, or a
    home base from which to do day trips to access our many attractions,
    this is your perfect place. The perfect place for your vacation
    getaway, family reunion, or home base. Stay in the roundhouse for a
    third of the cost of the ski resorts and drive less than an hour to
    your choice of half a dozen of north carolina's finest slopes, or
    ski them all. Although western NC was hit pretty hard by the recent hurricane our properties are situated at a high elevation and had no damage and access is not a problem.

The Round House

Pets would be fine here, although we don't travel with pets ourselves. It is in a beautiful area in the mountains. That said there isn't really flat outdoor area for little children. But the interior was spaciousand hosts were very accommodating. Super clean and a comfortable home away from home! Very nice architecture, a round deltec house.

Very nice place

A really nice little house in a gorgeous setting. Immaculately clean. We had a little hiccup with the check in, but it was fixed immediately, as the hosts were nearby.

Round House

Bob & Judy’s Round House is a wonderful place to stay! Very comfortable in every way, the location is beautiful, and offers great access to the entire area from Boone to Asheville. Communication was great. We had everything we needed. The only question we left with was when would we be coming back!

Little Round NC House

Bob and Judy's house is charming and quiet. The setting is beautiful, tucked deep in the mountains, but easy to get to. It was a wonderful stay, and close to so many special parts of the NC mountains. Although the house is small, it is spacious and comfortable. We hope to be back in the near future!

Little Round House Stay

Everything was great. My co-worker and I enjoyed the relaxed feeling of this rental from day one. After a long days work, it was great to sit back and enjoy some free time with peace and quiet from the everyday world. If I am ever back in the area and the rental is available, will book it again. Mountain tranquility

Just off the Blue Ridge Parkway and convenient to Spruce Pine. Actually go under the BRP and down a gravel road to reach the property. The little round house is comfortable and well equipped. Having a washer and dryer is a plus. The ice maker is also a plus. Enjoyed our stay. The mattresses and pillows were hard and old. The den furniture is worn and dated. The towels and linens were nice. Comes with 2 small parking spots that are a challenge to park in.

Lovely Little Round House

We loved staying at the Little Round House. It was perfect for our home base - it had everything we needed - exceptionally clean, quiet and in a perfect location for relaxing and getting out to explore this beautiful area! We would definitely book again!!

Lovely stay in Spruce Pine

Clean, comfortable, well-equipped small house off the main road but convenient to hikes in the area. Plenty of privacy but the thoughtful, responsive, and friendly owners live close by. Thoroughly enjoyed my stay and I hope to return.

Peaceful and serene home

We enjoyed our stay at the round house. The location is private and very peaceful, and close to Little Switzerland and the Blue Ridge Parkway. Our hosts were great! We would definitely recommend this place to our friends and family.

Would stay here again

The home was spacious, well appointed and very clean. It had everything you could need and then some. It is on a quiet wooded road. The bed was super comfy and I slept great. It is round like a yurt and has a balcony all the way around it. It has sliding glass doors in 3 or 4 locations that my dog liked looking out. There is a patio on the back balcony that overlooks the woods, had 2 rocking chairs and table and chairs, plus barbeque pit. We spent many mornings drinking coffee there, evenings eating there. It's very relaxing. It is a short drive to the grocery store. I enjoyed it there, would recomend it and would definitely stay there again. Very peaceful.
