"The building common areas, hallways and rooms were neat and clean and looked nice. The only concern we had was the a/c. Our room was very humid when we checked in, since the ac was off. We turned it on and it cooled the room but it didn't reduce the room humidity unless we opened the door to the hallway which had cooler, dryer air. We didn't say anything as we thought the building as a whole was having some sort of ac issue since it was a little stuffy and the breakfast room had a fan running...

"We’ve stayed at this property about once a year since it opened, initially so thrilled for a hotel here. Unfortunately, the property has gone downhill. Holes in the sheets, loose tiles in bathroom, sticky, dusty furnishings and the AC unit rattled and moaned so loudly we turned it off. Breakfast offerings were good. Sadly we have to cross this off our shortlist."

"Expect farm feel, not at all. Very inconvenient accommodation. Should just market as sleep room(s). Hotel room would have been more accommodating with amenities, specially for price. Spotty WiFi. Would never recommend."

"We enjoyed our stay and the location of the property. The hosts have a helpful manual for the property- I recommend looking at it for their recommendations. We tried the Full Bowl, walking distance from the property and it was wonderful! There are several museums in the area that we would recommend visiting. Kismet coffee shop was great. There is hiking not too far away for outdoor people. We visited Indian Creek Nature Center and recommend it for all ages. We enjoyed the space of the property...

"Check in was easy, enjoyed having the private garage since we ended getting a rental car. Only minor areas of improvement were around laundry and cleanliness. There was a sock and belt left in one of the closets, I assume by the previous customers. All towels in both bathrooms had been cleaned but not fully dried. They were all still damp and required further drying before use. "

"My wife and I wanted to explore a few attractions in the Cedar Rapids/Iowa City area over a 4-day weekend, and found this house to be centrally located. It was clean, well-kept, and was in a quiet neighborhood. The house was perfect for us and also would have been great for a family, a friend group, etc. Off-street parking was also appreciated. We would definitely stay here again. Thank you!"
