We had a great long weekend get away! Are stay was accommodating, and close to the concert venue we came for. Came for a show, but got to do some fishing and cooking out in between. Would definitely come back and do it again!

Quiet Retreat

Spent a wonderful relaxed quiet few days before the bustle of Christmas. The cottage is well-furnished, clean, and comfortable. We were the only occupied cottage when we were there and enjoyed the solitude on a beautiful lake.

Amazing little cottage in the lake! Just as described in the listing. The host was very communicative and responded to questions quickly. The area was calm and peaceful just like we wanted, but any activities weren’t that far away to drive. The boat rental place was just down the road which was also convenient for fishing. Amazing sunset views and the hosts little attention to detail made for a relaxing, stress free stay. Would definitely book again!

I loved this property which looked out at the lake right in front. The host was very generous with things in the kitchen. I loved how the home was organized for efficiency. The area had a lot to offer with many things to do. I am really happy to have stayed here!

Relaxing getaway

We were looking for a small place on a lake to just get away and relax for a could days. This place was perfect. The cottage is one of the cleanest and best stocked rentals we have ever seen. Communication with the host was great too. She immediately responded to questions.

If you want a quiet and relaxing vacation this is the place. You are also close to many other attractions if you feel the need. Otherwise, relax and enjoy. The owner is the best and everything you need it provided.

Very nice home! Had some gorgeous sunsets. You have to be young and/or flexible to comfortably use the 2 twin beds in the loft. Bathroom is very tight.

Nice Small Lake Cottage

Cottage was clean but you should be aware there is limited closet space. Fine for a shorter stay, Fire pit was nice. Neighbors are close as is usually the norm for these types of cottages. Overall the noise level was fine.

Winter lake trip

Rented this very nice cabin for a weekend of ice fishing with friends. House was just as advertised, very well equipped and with every modern convenience. House appears to have been recently remodeled too! We had a great time and Vicki was a pleasure to rent from. Would definitely recommend!

The Lake House

This cottage is one of the best Vrbo places I’ve rented. It is clean , easy to get to, the owners have gone above and beyond to provide everything you may need! All of those little things you may forget are there. It is a quiet neighborhood. On the days it didn’t rain I loved drinking my morning coffee and looking over the lake. Not much is more peaceful than that! I highly recommend renting here.

Otisco Homebase

This was our first visit to the Finger Lakes Region. After biking for a week along the Erie Canal, we used this place as home base for adventures to the state parks in Ithaca and Watkins Glen, the Montezuma wildlife preserve, Seneca Falls, and Skaneateles. It has a well-equipped kitchen and great lake views. While there is a small grocery down the road, there is a Wegman's in Ithaca and laundromats there as well. We mostly enjoyed sitting on the deck watching the eagles fly and fish jump in the morning and seeing the stars at night.

Picturesque

Very nice cottage on the shore of Otisco Lake with a nice back deck and back yard for relaxing or using the firepit. Sunset from the back deck was awesome! Very quiet neighborhood. Provided kayaks and life jackets made for a nice lake experience. Heat pump worked well for heating or cooling. It was easy to get the interior temperature comfortable. The bed was very comfortable. Provided amenities were plentiful. We had to run the hot water a bit before it was hot, but once we realized that it was very good. Very good communication and guidance from the host. We plan to return.
