A coffee machine and a selection of teas are available in the shared kitchen, which provided all the necessary equipment to cook meals including dishwashers. "Good property but the XL room has no big kitchen it’s pretty small a d not comfortable to cook there. Everything else is good - but better get a room with a balcony it’s facing the river Moselle and it’s way more quiet than the rooms witch ate facing the road with a kind of heavy traffic "

"Die Wohnung ist genau wie beschrieben, der Whirlpool ein Traum, so wie auch der Garten, den wir leider aufgrund des Wetters nicht genießen können. Der Netto vor der Tür hat uns überhaupt nicht gestört, im Gegenteil, wir waren einige Male da ;) Von der Umgebung haben wir leider nicht viel gesehen, der Whirlpool war zu verführerisch :-D Lediglich unser Hausstauballergiker hatte mit einigen Allergikerproblemen zu kämpfen, deswegen leider der Abzug. Ansonsten alles super!"

"Wir haben uns in der Unterkunft jederzeit sehr wohl gefühlt. Einkaufsmöglichkeiten und zahlreiche Restaurants sind gut zu Fuß zu erreichen. Mit dem Auto kann man von hier aus zahlreiche Traumschleifen (ausgezeichnete Wanderwege) ansteuern. Frau Scholtes hat uns freundlich empfangen und kümmert sich rührig um das Wohl ihrer Gäste. Wir kommen gerne wieder zurück."

"The view is spectacular!! Our kids thought the place was amazing and we also enjoyed it. Owner was very quick to answer any questions we had. It's a little tricky to get to; but that was likely due to us not being from Germany/the area/understanding how the roads work. Once we understood how to get to it, it was a breeze to come and go. "The owner was very good at communicating, although I only gave a 3 for accuracy of the listing because it stated there was a washing machine but one was not available. We were on a 3 week vacation so we were hoping to do some washing. However the kitchen was very well set up with an abundance of coffee and tea. The bedrooms are a good size and comfortable. I would recommend this property."

"We stayed at Leiwen for 6 days and had a fantastic time. It is a quaint, little German town on the Mosel. We walked everywhere in the town: information center, bakery, grocery, pubs, and restaurants. Took a bus to Treir, Mosel river cruise to Berncastle, car trip to Berg Eltz castle. The cottage was much more than we imagined. It had a very comfortable living area with back yard and patio."
