The Space -
Upon stepping through the front door, you are immediately embraced by the warm and inviting ambiance of the interior. Polished concrete floors with underfloor heating and huge double-sided freestanding fireplace set the mood for the expansive open plan living area, which flows through onto the outdoor deck. The solar passive design, with sandstone coloured rammed earth walls, keeps you comfortable all year around. The natural materials and exceptional design of the home give the vibe that Margaret River is famous for - luxurious, relaxed and earthy.
Sitting in the main living area looking through the full length glass windows you are met with a natural amphitheatre of mature native Karri, Marri and Jarrah trees and a symphony of native wildlife. Red-winged and splendid fairy wrens hopping along the deck, Black Cockatoos, Quendas, owls, ring tail and brush tail possums.
There is a second living space for reading, listening to music and games which includes a library and comfortable group seating. Next to this living area is a yoga/fitness room with water rower, smart tv and gym mirrors. The home includes a wireless high-res multiroom Blusound music system.
The living area seamlessly flows into a gourmet kitchen equipped with quality Miele appliances and kitchenware, butler’s pantry, polished concrete benchtops with central island, and access to the outdoor dining area. At the rear is a kitchen garden with small orchard for those that love to cook.
SpaceNature offers four generously sized bedrooms, each thoughtfully designed to provide both privacy and relaxation. Upstairs, you’ll find the master suite sanctuary, complete with a luxury private en-suite bathroom with freestanding egg bathtub, remote blinds, a walk-in robe and its own balcony overlooking the lawn and trees.
Also on the second level, there is a fully set up working from home space with a dock for laptop with two monitors, colour printer and wi-fi.
Downstairs there is an additional master bedroom with king size bed / two king single beds and two minor bedrooms with queen beds. With separated living and sleeping areas, this house has ample room for each guest to have their own space. The downstairs bathroom features a separate double shower, bath, toilet and double vanity. Near the laundry there is also a separate powder room. Come back from the beach and wash off under the outdoor shower.
Indulge in the pleasures of outdoor living – the expansive deck with fully fitted BBQ or the fire pit circle is perfect for family and friends get togethers. Alternatively, find some quiet time on a side deck or a balcony. The kids will love the lawn area with in-ground trampoline. Heating and cooling: This house is constructed in rammed earth, has cross ventilation and is north orientated to capture gentle morning sun and shield from the afternoon sun. Margaret River has a temperate climate with some hot days in Summer. Air-conditioning provided in master bedroom. For downstairs rooms fans are provided.
