We stayed here for 4 nights to celebrate an 80th birthday. Our visit was at the end of Spring/beginning Winter.
The house itself is fantastic. Plenty room for us all (7 of us), and spare bunk beds for more kids. The online pictures make the house look really dark, and do not so the property justice. Log fire in the living room is wonderful.
Location is close to the bars and restaurants (about 8-10 mins walk) but not feasible for us walking in the dark with two 80+ year olds.
There is a distinct lack of towels (1 per person for 4 days). Although there is a washer (due to the time we visited, we could not put washing out), we had to have the log fire on for 2 full days to dry clothes. No dish/tea towels at all.
Woke up on the last morning to no hot water. We did contact the property management company but they did not acknowledge our e-mail which was disappointing.
Apart from the water and towel issue this was a great property to stay in. Would love to come again in Summer.
