"Because of the pricing we assumed it would have been a cleaner environment to stay the night. The sheets were not changed on the bed as there were crumbs/dirt in it when we pulled the covers back. Huge blood stain on the mattress with no attempt to use a mattress cover to hide it - just a thin sheet. The kitchen is not stocked as stated. "Michael, the host, was an excellent communicator. The property itself was in top-notch condition and super clean. The location was super for us to explore our Acadian heritage in the Cape Breton region, as well as explore the Cabot Trail. A totally unexpected bonus of the stay was to have my morning coffee on the back deck while literally watching the lobster fishermen run their pots just beyond the backyard. 4 thumbs up!"
