"Michael, the host, was an excellent communicator. The property itself was in top-notch condition and super clean. The location was super for us to explore our Acadian heritage in the Cape Breton region, as well as explore the Cabot Trail. A totally unexpected bonus of the stay was to have my morning coffee on the back deck while literally watching the lobster fishermen run their pots just beyond the backyard. 4 thumbs up!"

"Nice to be on the water; lovely views. Good location. Ramp from the street down to the house made it much easier to pull luggage, etc. Bedroom was very small. Lighting could have been a lot better. Listing made it sound as if we had the entire house; not true. Other people upstairs and we heard lots of clomping around."

"Property is on the main road sandwiched between another small house and a gravel driveway. In addition, out your living room window is a parking lot full of dry-docked lobster boats and several industrial buildings. Not pretty. It was dirty around the place. The bedroom also needs a fan above the bed. There is no moving air in that room! You cannot open the window as the street noise will pour in. Put in a ceiling fan! "We checked in at 4:00pm and found that there was no electricity. We called the owner and was told that there was an power outage starting at 6:00am and that the power would not be restored until 8:00pm. We were hungry but couldn't find any place open for dinner. It was getting cold. So we had to drive for 2 hours to a town to have dinner and stay over night. Since the owner knew of the power outage early in the morning, the owner should have been more considerate and contacted us earlier. ...

"I hadnt realized this was in an older RV, somehow. I thought it would be a small cabin. To get into bed was a little tricky to not hit your head on the overhang. There was a very tight space either side of the bed to get into it. The bathroom is tiny. The larger room is nice and bright, and the location in the woods is beautiful. It was very close to the concert we attended in Cheticamp. The owners had a fun sense of humor with labeling light switches and key chains."
