The smell in the downstairs really affected our stay. Had to move kids upstairs by end of stay due to sewage smell. House was nice but need to fix odor

Perfect Stay in Paradise

We’ve been vacationing in Marco forever. Our trips have evolved as our family has grown and this was the PERFECT space for our group. The access to the water provided endless hours of fishing fun. The enclosed pool provided ability to enjoy the water, even in the hottest hours of the day. We will definitely keep this one in mind for our next trip!

Worst Experience Ever

The trip started with two sets of sliding doors that lead to the pool not shutting or locking properly. Maintenance came and said they authorized replacing the doors after we leave. I expressed my concerns with the safety issues with having a child with special needs as well as our daughters staying in one of the rooms with outside access. The gate to the backyard was open when we returned to the house and no one had touched it. I authorized on 12/26 to heat the pool for a daily charge and it remained cold the whole stay. At 7:20am today there was an unknown man outside by the pool right by our daughters’ room. We were given no notifications and no one knocked before entering. Rain water pours through the slots in the upper deck ceiling so you can’t sit there. There were dirty utensils, cracked dishes, a coffee maker that leaks and grill that doesn’t work. The air conditioner and ceiling fan don’t work in the master but the door cannot be left open because the rod is held by one screw on one end. Doors don’t close without force, some don’t lock. The net on the ping pong table was broken and pool floats had leak holes. There is also a black fly infestation in the bathroom drains. Every day, I said to my family that, despite the issues and the extra security measures we had to put in place, the location is good, there is no where else to stay and we need to make the most of it. All unacceptable for a house charging a premium.

I loved the house, the spaces, the mattresses, the bedding and the decoration was very nice, what I didn't like was that there was only one roll of kitchen paper and toilet paper

Great value stay in Marco Island

Fantastically located, convenient to local establishments and beautiful neighborhood with waterfront amenities, poolside fun, etc. Highly recommended.

Misrepresentation of a property!

First off, we were told check in was 4 pm and I got an early text around 1pm that house was ready. Great news. We arrived at 3:30pm and found the pool was completely GREEN and not swimmable, the house was at 78 degrees and hot, found 2 dead cock roaches downstairs and about 15 ant traps in the kitchen alone (pantry, countertop and in the silverware drawer). I get Florida has bugs, but the excessive amount of ant traps on eating areas and in dirty drawers is just from filth. exterminator needed! The home didn't cool off at all that day so we checked the filter and it was full and concaved in so we removed and left in garage for the owner. After that it was able to cool down the home. After 4 days of speaking with the property manager and daily checks with the pool company...Wednesday evening we were able to use the pool BUT it was very warm, so we checked the pool heater and it was on. Get a new pool company or let them know when renters will be in town so they can get pool ready since this is an amenity we wanted and paid for. We also had to kill a 2 more cockroaches wandering up a wall in the basement bedroom where the kids slept. We were misled (by pics posted on VRBO) by the backyard images of a beautiful background filled with trees and plants and a blue pool. What we got was a jagged brick patio, a pile of bricks and rebar sticking out of the ground everywhere. Hurricane happened=new pics. Overall awful experience and they aren't helpful with refunding $$

Paradise Home Sweet Home

Great property! Spacious and clean. Property had EVERYTHING to enjoy the pool and beach. We used the bicycles, pool toys/floats, beach chairs, and beach toys that were provided. Plenty of bath and beach towels! We even fished off the dock and caught a catfish! We thoroughly enjoyed our stay! The neighborhood was quiet and close to grocery store! Highly recommend this property!

Awesome House!! Quiet Neighborhood!!

Eleven of us stayed here. 6 adults 5 kids. Neighborhood was very quiet and beautiful. Easy access to beaches and stores. The house is equipped with everything you would need. Pool is awesome touch and made the house just that much better. Everyone that stayed enjoyed everything the house had to offer and Marco island itself is now one of my favorite locations in Florida.

Nice place but needed work upon arrival

The house was as listed and worked great for two families. 5th time to Marco, we live staying here. The house was well stocked and clean upon arrival. The main issue was that the kitchen Faucet was loose/tippy and the sink had fallen, not the best presentation. I own a counter company so the fix took only an hour (not permanent since I didn't have silicone) but shouldn't be my responsibility when checking in for vacation. I doubt I'll even hear a response from Vacasa on this, since other pre check in communication was difficult at best.

Great bachelor party weekend

Spent 3 nights at the house for my sons bachelor party. Group of 10. We had planned a fishing charter for Friday and a pontoon rental for Saturday. The entire trip was outstanding. The house was at least as nice as the pictures had indicated. Clean, properly stocked, and in a great location. No complaints whatsoever, and would happily return.

Beautiful home! Had a great stay

This home was amazing inside and out. It was in a great, safe neighborhood, surrounded by a bunch of beautiful homes. The location was great; we could walk to the beach and it took only about 20 minutes. The house was much bigger and had a lot more room than I expected. There were a lot of things already stocked in the house, such as pans, utensils, cleaning supplies, floats, beach chairs, etc. There were also a lot of cleaning supplies that helped us throughout our stay. There was an immense amount of towels provided as well. Overall, our stay was amazing and we really enjoyed the house. A few things to note were that some of the doors didn't close properly or were a little difficult to operate. Other than that I can't really complain at all!

Great location!

Three of us stayed here for a guy's golf trip. It's in a great neighborhood and close to the Marco Island restaurants. We had an issue with the wifi password, and the contact was very responsive and resolved the issue immediately. The house was clean and comfortable, and the showers were great. We didn't use the pool, so no review for that.
