    Airport & Arrival

    685 N Barfield is approximately 25 miles from Southwest Florida International Airport (RSW) in Fort Myers – an easy 35-40 minute drive south along I-75 and across the bridge to Marco Island. Most guests rent a car at the airport, which we highly recommend for maximum flexibility during your stay.

    Do You Need a Car?

    Yes, a car is essential for a Marco Island vacation. While the island itself is compact (only 6 miles long), you'll want the freedom to explore different beaches, visit restaurants, make grocery runs, and take day trips to Naples or the Everglades. This home includes garage parking plus additional driveway space.

    Getting Around Marco Island

    The island is incredibly easy to navigate – there's essentially one main road (Collier Boulevard/SR 951) that runs the length of the island. You're never more than 10 minutes from anywhere you want to go. GPS works perfectly here, and locals are famously friendly if you need directions.

    Distances from 685 N Barfield:

    Tigertail Beach: 3 miles (7 minutes)

    Residents' Beach: 2 miles (5 minutes)

    Old Marco Village (restaurants/shops): 1.5 miles (4 minutes)

    Publix Supermarket: 2 miles (5 minutes)

    Beach Access

    While this home isn't directly on the beach, you're positioned perfectly for easy access to Marco's best beaches. Tigertail Beach is ideal for shelling and nature walks. For the classic Marco experience, South Marco Beach provides that iconic white sand and Gulf sunset view.

    Bike-Friendly

    Marco Island is flat and bike-friendly with dedicated paths along many routes. Many guests enjoy renting bikes or bringing their own for casual rides around the neighborhood or to nearby beaches. Several local shops offer bike rentals and beach equipment delivery.

    Water Transportation

    Self check-in at 4:00 PM via keyless entry code (provided 24 hours before arrival). No need to stop by an office or coordinate key pickup – drive straight to the property and start your vacation. We'll provide detailed instructions with photos to make your arrival seamless.Our Philosophy:
