We returned to Marco for my father’s Memorial (he has resided in Marco 1972-2014, a “pioneer”). This was a good set up for our family, 6 adults, a toddler, and an infant. New, bright, and well-decorated Spacious living area and nice sized bedrooms. Worth the splurge. Note that one “bedroom” could be called an office, it is small, front of house, and right off the entryway with glass doors (fortunately that occupant was a night owl, no late hour noise issues, and there are quality roll-down shades on all windows and doors, including remote shades for the very tall area leading to patio/pool. Room to park one car in garage and 4-5 in driveway. Note you’re on a busy road with no street parking. Screened in Pool, spa and patio area nice (temp and spa controls a bit confusing). Kitchen is well-equipped. Although rules stated to completely clean out fridge and other foods, we found a nice supply of drinks, condiments, seasonings, coffee pods, pantry basics (including wraps/ziplocs), which we were told was up for grabs. Very appreciated not having to buy the little things (check before you shop). The only con is that there were lots of hoops to jump through once the reservation was made on Vrbo. Had to download an app, which gave us all the instructions for the house, we had to pick up/drop off the key at the realty office on the island, extra steps that were a little bit annoying. That said we called ahead and asked for an earlier check-in and were accommodated.
