Nice Weekend Getaway
It was a nice weekend and area to hangout with friends and celebrate my brother getting married! The check in process was super simple and Michelle was very responsive to any questions we had during the weekend. Plenty of rooms and beds to accommodate bigger groups! Within walking distance of the lake, pier, basketball, tennis, and pickleball courts. Plenty of places to eat in the area and coffee shops. The cottage had plenty of amenities, made the experience simpler and more relaxing. Highly recommend and will stay again in the future!

Beautiful Getaway
We had a great time staying at this house. The neighborhood was quaint and beautiful, with lots of fun activities. The house was perfect, Michelle truly thought of everything! It had every amenity we needed for our stay. Our particular favorite was the kitchen, it was great for cooking dinners together. We'll be coming back!

Love This Place
My sisters and I enjoyed staying at Lakeside house. We loved walking along the lake, shopping, and the conversations around the kitchen table. Most of us found the beds to be very comfortable. Kitchen had plenty of counter space to prepare our meals. Hated for our stay to end.

Great short getaway!
Fall break trip with friends. 12 of us total, 8 girls ages 2-12, stayed at the cottage and had a great time. The cottage was incredibly clean and organized. The kids enjoyed golf cart rides around lakeside. The bunk room was perfect!

Perfect place for a Lakeside getaway!
My family and I stayed here over a long weekend in October. This place is absolutely gorgeous and was the perfect place to relax. The owner had great communication and checking in and out was very simple. We loved having access to the golf cart too! We would definitely stay here again. Loved everything about it! Thank you!!

Outstanding and Beautiful!
I recently stayed at Michelle's cottage in Lakeside with some old friends of mine. All I can say is absolutely stunning! We were amazed at how beautiful and upscale the cottage was. It was the perfect getaway space for us.
My husband and I hosted our daughter and her husband and children for a quick getaway together. The home was beautiful, clean, plenty of seating for meals and hang time. The kitchen, perfect for our large group, was well equipped with everything that we needed. Great location! We spent a late afternoon, after arriving, at the beach and all day at the beach the next day. Michelle had stocked some fun toys for the kids which they loved! We played games at the table and watched a couple of movies in the evening. Thanks, Michelle, for sharing your lovely home with us!

As Good as it Gets!
This property is amazing! We have stayed at numerous different properties over the past 3 decades and this deserves to be at the top of the list. It can accommodate large groups but is also cozy enough for 2. The location is perfect as well, a 2 minute walk to the pool or tennis courts, or a 10 minute walk to the beach and/or activities. The community is a hidden gem. I can honestly say that it does not get any better than this. We hope to be back next year! Thank you to the property owner for sharing with us!

Beautiful, updated home in a great location!
This home was beautiful! Everything was new and clean. The location was amazing. You had the pool caddy corner to the property and could get to the lake/town quickly by walking or taking the golf cart. The home was super toddler friendly and we appreciated the baby gate, high chairs and pack n play that was already on site.

Comfortable
This was a very welcoming and friendly home in the Lakeside community. The house was clean and in great condition. The owners provide a fully stocked kitchen and plenty of additional and thoughtful amenities such as fishing poles, cornhole set and the golf cart! The house is very infant and child friendly. The owners were great host. We look forward to staying again in the future.

Great Family Experience!
Our family of 9, ages 8-73, found our stay to be very comfortable and enjoyable. The open floor plan allowed everyone to be together and sleeping/bathroom facilities were more than adequate 😊 The large front porch opens on a quiet street, across from a "prairie " where the children enjoyed watching a doe and her two fawns. We all enjoyed the near vicinity of the pool and the art center, where we continued our tradition of painting rocks as souvenirs of our time together. The golf cart is a great convenience for getting to the lakefront, shopping and program areas. It provided a quick trip down for those who wanted to attend the science/space talks, and convenience for those who enjoyed the bookstore, ice cream stands and miniature golf. Lakeside is a great , safe place for a family vacation... a place where a lot of friendly people go, but is still amazingly quiet and peaceful where we stayed. I highly recommend Melissa's "cottage" as a haven to relax in.... she is a wonderful host!

Beautiful Vacation Home
This is the perfect spot to bring your family. The house was beautiful inside and out. Everything was clean. Anything you needed for cooking or cleaning was included. This is the second time we rented from Michelle and it was amazing. She was so sweet and sent over donuts one morning. She is extremely responsive and can help you with anything you need. Will absolutely be renting from Michelle again. We loved the home and never wanted to leave.

Perfect Weekend Getaway
This house is exactly as it is pictured! This was our family's first trip to Lakeside and the location and house did not disappoint! The bedrooms are set up perfectly for different families. Every space is utilized to its potential. The cleanliness was top-notch, which is extremely important to me. The location to the pool and Pickleball courts is perfect. There is a set of Pickleball paddles for use and a table tennis net that secures to the kitchen table that our kids thoroughly enjoyed! This house is going to become a yearly weekend getaway for me and my family! Thank you Michelle for sharing your beautiful house with us!

Family visit
Our children and spouses from areas in Ohio met here for a wonderful but chilly weekend. The home is cozy yet plenty big to cook, visit and play games. Kitchen is well stocked. Beds comfortable. Short walk to Lake Erie. Can’t wait to come back in season! The town seems so quaint. The Rocky point winery is close by and quite nice!

This Vrbo was gorgeous! Freshly renovated with lots of seating and fully stocked kitchen. Each closet and bedroom had plenty of extra pillows blankets and sheets! Check in was quick and easy and owner was very quick with response for questions. We had a blast!

High end lake house
This lake house is nothing but top quality. This new build is well executed using high-end finishes. It really doesn't get much better than this. More than enough room for everybody with an open floor plan that allows everybody to be together and have their own space. The kitchen is well stocked. The bedrooms have plenty of beds and linens available. The bathrooms / showers are wonderful. Thank you for a wonderful stay. One thing to note... There are no curtains or window treatments on the first floor. At night you do feel like you are on display. Something to be aware of. Other than that, book with confidence that you are getting exactly what you are paying for. A top quality stay in a top quality house.

A great place to stay
This was one of the cleanest properties we've stayed at! Granted, the home is relatively new, but it provided us with everything we needed. The beds were plentiful and comfortable. Including linens was a huge plus. Communication with the owner was quick and easy. The only downside was the fireplace not being allowed to operate during the rental.

A fun get-away
This house was spectacular! It was set up perfectly for entertainment and renters. Pristine, modern, comfortable, inviting, easy instructions. Everything we would want in a VRBO. The surrounding area of Lakeside was beautiful. The golf cart that Michelle provided took it up a notch, as we explored the area. Thank you, Michelle! I will definitely be recommending this house!

This property was a dream come true! Very beautiful, clean, and comfortable. Beautiful Cottage
We very much enjoyed our stay at Lakeside. The cottage was beautiful inside and out. Everything was brand new with high end finishes. We enjoyed relaxing on the front porch and walking to the many amenities including the pool and pickle ball courts. The golf cart was great for driving into town. Beautiful updated home and great location
The home was beautiful and recently renovated, no detail was missed! The location was steps away from the pool, which our kiddos loved. The front porch was peaceful and with the open lot across the street that is a prairie garden lent itself to a bit more privacy and tranquility. The golf cart made it convenient to get around town and came with the house, bonus! We booked at the end of August which was ideal for our young family because many kids were already back in school and there were no crowds in the resort town but everything was still fully open with summer hours for us to enjoy and explore. (The pool and many services are reduced after Labor Day and the summer season). Our host Michelle had great communication and addressed any questions we had promptly and was very kind. Great stay and would definitely come back again!!

Amazing new house with the all the amneties of home on the lake
This house/cottage is brand new and very spacious. Two big families or family with Grand folks can enjoy the lower bedroom suite. It has two integral washer and dryers and two under counter dishwashers that very convenient for long stays or short. The kitchen appliances are top notch for any gathering with plenty of seating for larger family meals. Beds are very comfortable which can be hard to find in a cottage at lakeside. We definitely enjoyed our stay. The golf court and proximity to the pool was a good bonus. I had quick walk for lap swim in the morning and a reliable golf cart down to the beach. Also, Michelle is a very responsive host during our stay answering questions and accommodating our arrival time. We hope to stay here again at lakeside!

Quintessential Cottage
Conventionally located within steps of the pool with pleasant neighbors all around. The cottage owners thought of every detail to make our stay comfortable. Bath towels and beach towels and linens and blankets to keep you comfortable all week. Fully equipped kitchen with two dishwashers and k-cup coffee machine. Providing the golf cart was a real savings and essential for getting around Lakeside. The grill is charcoal so make sure to bring charcoal and lighter fuel. We are looking forward to next year! And miss it already!

GREAT family cottage
Our stay in this Lakeside cottage was thoroughly enjoyable. It is a beautiful home with high quality finishes. Perfect location with just a short walk to the pool, still close enough to walk to the lake as well. The included golf cart was such a nice addition. Perfect Summer Cottage
Great location across the street from the pool. The house had everything you could think of. Each room is designed for a family with a queen bed and a set of bunk beds. The third room is all bunk beds which is great if you have a lot of kids so everyone can sleep together in one room. Great night sleep! The house comes with a golf cart which really saves you on having to rent one. Can’t wait to come back.

Fabulous cottage
We had a wonderful experience staying at this beautifully renovated cottage. Plenty of room for my family of 5. The boys loved the bunk room, and their own bathroom with an adorable camp sink, and our daughter had her own room and bathroom upstairs, beautifully appointed as well. Plenty of towels, blankets, and comforts of home included with the property. The golf cart was a great amenity and being so close to the pool was a bonus. Michele was a great host and responded quickly to any questions. Can’t wait to come back!

Stunning home
My family and I were looking for a little getaway that wasn’t too far from home. We were pleasantly surprised when we found this listing. The home is absolutely stunning! It is a brand new build and everything in the home is top notch. It had such a vacation feel. Plenty of room for the family and we loved gathering on the front porch. The golf cart was such a great thing to have. We enjoyed driving around town checking out the beautiful beach feel community. Everyone was so friendly! We will definitely be coming back! Especially to this home.
