We enjoyed our time at Whispering Waterfalls. The waterfalls are my favorite. They are amazing to listen to and let the stress melt away. The house was fully stocked with everything that we needed. It’s beautiful, well stocked and a great place to spend a few days. Even though it was not needed, I am confident that Lorraine would have taken care of any concern we may have had. We will be visiting again!

We loved our time at the cabin. It had everything we needed and felt like home away from home. It was beautifully decorated for the holiday season and very warm and cozy. We were a group of 7 and it was a perfect fit for us. We enjoyed having plenty of space for everyone to relax and spend time together. Each couple having their own bathroom was definitely a bonus! One of the highlights was sitting out at the fire pit each night and listening to the soothing sound of the beautiful waterfalls and creek. Our host, Lorraine, was very welcoming and helpful. She was easy to contact for any questions we had. The location is great with close proximity to downtown Murphy, Andrews, and other surrounding areas. We look forward to another stay here in the future!

This property was absolutely beautiful! The house is built in a ravine, so you can see mountains in the distance, a stream below, and woods all around. We stayed with our two adult daughters and their husbands, and there was more than plenty of room for the six of us. The home/property was very clean, extremely organized, and beautifully decorated with a Christmas tree and decorations -which was a nice touch for our early December trip. Another thing that seemed to set it apart from other places we've stayed was everything in the house was first class. The bedding, indoor furniture, outdoor/porch furniture, towels, cookware, silverware, blanket/throws, etc. matched, was comfortable and in excellent shape - NOT piecemealed or thrown together with second hand items just to fill a rental home. Communication and instructions from the host was excellent, as well. I would give it 10 stars if I could!

Whispering Waterfalls is a FABULOUS cabin. As many families do, we gather but in loving memory of loved ones gone too soon. We don't want to forget the joy they brought into our lives. This was the best place for our family to have Thanksgiving. There are hints of love and inspiration in every room which gave for a peaceful atmosphere. The entire cabin inside and out was decorated with Christmas love and reminded us of the true reason for the season. This cabin was equipped with EVERYTHING a family could need. It had everything from cooking utensils, a beautifully decorated Christmas Tree, and a spectacular fireplace!! The people that we met was very nice and the surrounding local restaurants had great food. Julie and her family along with Jenna provided a fantastic meal at Julie's Place located in Murphy, NC. My family would like to give a BIG THANK YOU to Ed and Lorraine for a SPECIAL place to call HOME and make new memories. It is our prayer that we can visit Whispering Waterfalls again one day soon.

We walked in and were immediately wowed by this amazing rental! The is by far the best stocked property we have ever visited, especially with kitchen supplies. We had a great itinerary of hikes and exploring mapped before we arrived, but it was actually hard to leave the house! We loved fires but the creek, soaks in the hot tub with waterfall backdrops, grilling and enjoying dinner on the screened in porch, a game of pool and shuffleboard, then a wonderful night's rest in the extremely comfortable beds. This property sits perfectly between Andrews and Murphy, with great grocery stores in both towns. We enjoyed a hike in nearby Murphy with a little downtown strolling afterward as well as a day trip to Deep Creek and Cherokee for beautiful waterwall hikes. A wonderful location and a great property whose owners have thought of everything! Looking forward to visiting again!

What an amazing place! From the welcome feeling on the approach to every touch in the home-pure perfection. Everything is so very comfortable and extremely responsive hosts. Whispering Waterfalls was lovely! The owner left so many thoughtful provisions from s’mores fixings to popcorn. The couches were made for lounging! The setting was as magical as in the pictures. I would definitely come back.

Superb home for a getaway that has everything you need - it's comfortable and has the beautiful, soulful waterfall sound from every room - there's something for all age ranges in the home and surroundings. It's easy to get to and is close to cute shops in downtown Murphy - hiking and waterfalls and Bavarian town of Helen, GA are nearby. Do yourself a favor and book this Whispering Waterfalls home.

Beautiful home, comfortable beds, this home is well stocked with just about anything you could think you might need and many things I would not have thought of but was glad they did! Loved the sound from the waterfall from the screened in porch, I spent every morning out there enjoying my coffee and listening. We found many local things to do and we took a day trip to Chattanooga which was fun. Thanks for hosting such a lovely property!

Whispering Waterfalls was one of the best VRBO we have ever stayed in. The host has gone out of their way to provide anything a guest may need.( We halfway expected to find clothes in the closet..JK). Communications were awesome. Directions were great.The home was amazing. The sounds from the creek running over the rocks topped it off. 1000% recommend this location for your stay.

Wonderful and relaxing

We stayed for a short 2 nights but loved the house and location! The beds were all nice and comfortable, the kitchen was well stocked with lots of commonly used food and food storage items. Things were labeled well and it was easy to figure out how to use tvs, electronics, etc. The hosts were very responsive and considerate. The sound of the water and coziness of the house in general was amazing. I wish we could have stayed longer!

Best Place for a Relaxing Mountain Vacation

We absolutely love this place! We have stayed at this property 4 times and each time we love it even more. The house is so nice and offers anything and everything that you may need for your stay from comfy beds and linens to a fully stocked kitchen and lots of fun things to do outside including a fully stocked fire pit, very clean hot tub, and beautiful waterfalls that you can hear from the spacious screened in porch. I would recommend for families and/or couples that are looking for a relaxing and quiet vacation. It is within 1-2 hours of many attractions such at Ruby Falls, Dollywood, wineries, hiking trails, and whitewater rafting. It's a must rent! We can't wait to be back!

60th birthday celebration

This house is wonderful with all the details well thought out. It’s decorated beautifully to make you feel like you are at home. The kitchen stocked with everything you would need for cooking . Even things like foil and ziplock bags. All the bedrooms are warm and inviting with clean bathrooms! Downstairs game room is awesome with lots of games and fun things to do. The owners were great and responded quickly with any questions you might have. Everyone in our group said it was the best VRBO they have ever stayed in! You won’t be disappointed if you choose this home!

Amazing gem in Marble

The family decided to get together for new years and we were so lucky to find this incredible vrbo! As soon as we arrived we knew we'd remember this trip for years to come. An amazing setting right on the hill side with a gentle stream and waterfalls, lit up at night might I add. Although it was cold for Floridians but we still had a fire stream side. We spent a day in Blue Ridge, very short drive. We also spent a day in Gatlinburg, about an hour and 30 minutes, again we had a great day. The cabin beds were very conformable and there was plenty of space for everyone. The downstairs area with the pool table and table bowling gave us many memorable laughs we'll talk about for years. I would defiantly highly recommend this vrbo, I'd love to re-book again in some warmer weather where we could enjoy the outside areas a bit more. Lorraine and team are amazing, when we needed her she was so quick to respond and the team took care of any issues we had. Check-in and check-out was super easy. Thank you so much for hosting us!!!!

4 days in paradise

Our "Christmas getaway " was the best mini vacation yet. This was our 2nd stay this location. If there is a better place to relax and socialize with family, it is on another continent. The owners are superior to any concierge at a grand hotel. Try it, you'll like it, I gaurantee it.
