This place is exactly what I wanted. It's a beautiful, but rustic cabin that is lacking none of the modern conveniences. I did not get to try the wifi 'cause my computer chose to die enroute and I stupidly left my phone at home. But, the TV worked, the coffee pot worked and made very good coffee (I brought my own), and the water was clean and fresh and did not have any odor. Of course, the sunshine was clear and awesome. It was really a big bonus to be able to let my dogs out without having to leash them up and take them for a walk. If you are looking for peace and solitude, I highly recommend this place. And the owner(s) are very nice and compatible. We had no issues at all, not one. I could not have found any place that better matched what I wanted. Thank you!

This was exactly what it says it is, a cozy cabin in the woods. Nothing fancy but all you would need. We loved hiking and exploring the beautiful Buffalo river area. Nice place to stay!!

Totally loved it. Tucked away in the woods, so it was nice and quiet. Plenty of room for my wife and me (though with extra bed, futon and sofa, more could have stayed easily). Amenities like restaurants, grocery and gas are a few minutes away (the town of Jasper is great). Buffalo River is right there, so there’s plenty of opportunities for water activities (as well as hiking). Looking forward to our next stay.

We did not use the fireplace, however the rooms were comfortable. Loved all the windows and the amazingvsunrise views! We were unable to complete our 5 days because on the way to theproperty, while walking our small dog, i stepped in a hole and broke a bone in my foot. I woul definitely recommend this property to others

Loved the rustic look and seclusion of this cabin. Perfect for an anniversary trip for my husband and I. Not sure I would stay here on a trip with the kids though as the openness and loft do not offer much privacy. Cabin was clean and easy to get to. We enjoyed seeing Jasper and the elk in Ponca/Boxley Valley, all just a short drive away!

Restful Getaway

This cabin is perfect for those looking to get away from it all. Although there are 3 other cabins on the property, trees and distance made it seem you were all alone. Just a short drive to a beautiful river access and centrally located near several tourist towns like Branson made the location perfect. My husband and I like to truly get away and this place was perfect! The cabin decor was rustic, but very nice. If you’re tall, like us, you need to be careful of the sloped ceiling in the bedroom, especially if you get up at night. We would totally stay here again!

The Original

The cabin is well represented in its listing. We enjoyed our stay immensely, including our pup. As we walked in, we each commented on the homey feeling. The amenities were well represented and the kitchen was not lacking for needed tools or place settings. We were able to enjoy some local food establishments. (Thank you for the binder of local recommendations!) We found the location to be centrally located for our hiking adventures as well. We can’t wait to return and hopefully have a few campfires with s’mores!
