This property was beautiful and tranquil, very clean inside, and an absolute wonderful stay. Only minutes from downtown Johnson City and from Pedernales Falls State Park. Hot tub was excellent to relax, pool was cool and refreshing, Porch was chill and peaceful to relax on in the mornings and afternoons with a cup of coffee in a rocking chair. Boomer the horse was friendly and came to say hello a couple of times. Had a great time and will go back again.

The house was so cute, clean, well maintained, and just like the pictures! Communication was great, and we loved the space, the lovely patio, pool, hot tub, and having space to roam. There were cozy blankets, plenty of good pillows, and the owner even provided a bed, blanket, and bowls for our pup! The kitchen was also super well stocked with all the supplies we needed for cooking. We highly recommend, and would definitely stay here again!

We loved our stay here! So many good things to mention. Hot tub was fun and perfect for the cooler weather, we didn’t get to enjoy the pool but it looked clean and well maintained. Lots of seating options around the pool and backyard. Our daughter loved the large swing. Kitchen probably has everything you could need to cook any meal, and was clean and well organized. Plenty of blankets, sheets, pillows, towels. Bathrooms were clean. We really appreciated the instructions and labels around the house for how to use things. Prompt response from host when we had a question. Beautiful and quiet location. Loved seeing the horses. Directions for how to find the house were perfect. Overall a wonderful get away and we would stay again!

This place was pure peace and beauty. From start to finish everything exceeded all expectations. The moment we walked in, we were met with a clean and cozy environment. Although it was just my partner and I, it was nice to see that they included so many beds all around the home for extra guests. The bathrooms were spotless and well stocked with towels which we appreciated. The property itself was stunning. The pool and the hot tub had great views. We loved seeing the occasional horse, donkey and deer. But for us, the real show started after the sun set and the night sky lit up with countless stars. It was incredible. We can't wait to go back and spend more time here. Thank you so much to our hosts for their hospitality.

Pleasant stay, detailed instructions. Hot tub was a nice amenity on the property. Thoughtful of the host to provide us drinking water in the refrigerator since we forgot to get that on our drive there. The peace and quiet in the woods made the stay very relaxing.

The property is very unique and eclectic. It was a perfect paradise for my husband, our dog & I. The pool and patio were beautiful and had everthing we needed. It was still hot weather so the unheated pool was refreshing. The kitchen was everything we needed prepare meals. Town was only minutes away for going out to eat or shop.We had all the privacy we wanted. We would stay again.

Wonderful quiet and peaceful property. Had everything you could need on site for cooking, swimming, pets. Checking in and out was a breeze. If you wanted to venture out property was centrally located about a 30-40min drive to different towns and attractions. Will definitely be back.

Relaxing getaway

This property is remote while being close to lots to do.The property was clean and well maintained. The king bed was so comfy.The pool and deck were my favorite place when we came in from Fredericksburg, Wimberly and San Marcos. We needed a quiet get away and it was perfect for us, but with the extra beds and 2 full bathrooms it would be great for a family with kids too. We would highly recommend this amazing property

My 10yo son, our pup, and I had such a wonderful time here! Such a charming ranch home to spend a relaxing time in. The kitchen is equipped with everything you’d need - the best I’ve ever encountered during vacation rental stays. There is a crate, bed, toys, water and food bowls for dogs. The pool, hot tub, hammock, swing, and rocking chairs are all well maintained and such fantastic perks to staying here. We are also grateful for the ranch kitty overlords and appreciate that they let us pet them. We will definitely be back!

The property is perfect with the refreshing pool, deck for sipping coffee, friendly horses nearby, and the surrounding natural views of Texas Hill country. The place is quiet and peaceful and yet only 7 minutes to Johnson City. The owner, Tami, is very friendly and has stocked the house better than most VRBOs with plenty of coffee, paper products, kitchen/bathroom/laundry supplies, towels, pool toys, etc. We essentially didn’t need a thing and loved our week long trip.
