We spent six weeks at this property and were very comfortable here. The house checked all of our boxes. We dined out some, but prepared most of our meals at the house. The kitchen had everything we needed to do so. We particularly enjoyed time spent out on the deck, even in the heat of the day, thanks to the shade trees in the back.No one enjoyed themselves more than our dog. The large, fenced in yard afforded him abundant room to roam, while the waterfront and surroundings provided lost mental stimulation. I think he's sad to be home.

Great Christmas Visit

In town to see family in Granite Shoals, Marble Falls & Spicewood over Christmas. Spent most of our time at our family's house, but it's such a cute house in a nice quiet neighborhood. House had everything we needed, including a great deck out back to relax after a 5 hour drive with kids and small dog. We will be back when it's warmer, so we can enjoy the water & fish next time!

Super clean and great lake view and access.

We really enjoyed our stay!! You wake up in the master bed with a beautiful view of the lake which was our favorite part. We rented a boat nearby and were able to dock it right up to the back yard to take a pitstop. SUPER convenient!! Our dogs LOVED the huge front and back yard (which is 100% fenced in) for ball throwing and exploring. They had such a blast, and we did too!

My favorite lake getaway!

If you’re looking for that perfect lake trip, A Touch of Texas is where you want to be. The house is amazing! Whether you’re on the lake all day enjoying the refreshing water, fishing from the back yard, or exploring the beautiful Marble Falls area, Carol considered everything you’d need. The kitchen is fully stocked and the beds are amazingly comfy. She even has a stash of linens, bowls and toys for your fur-baby. The huge backyard is probably our favorite spot to hang out. We set up a volleyball net and played for hours with our kids, and in the evenings, enjoyed sitting on the large deck playing music and games late into the night. Carol has hosted us for two summers now and because of her thoughtful touches to make this home feel like our home, I will never have to search any further for a lake house on LBJ. This is our spot!

Super cute lake house

The property is as advertised, will sleep 7 perfectly. Two couples and 3 kids is perfect. The home was clean and had everything we needed. We don’t usually cook when stay in a short term rental, but it appeared to be fully stocked. The yard was manicured and fully fenced for our labradoodle to run around. For boaters. There is a concrete break wall with two cleats. The channel is very shallow and we have a wake boat and we did touch bottom with the prop. It is very soft so no damage but it is shallow. Sand and silt so no issue. If you have a pontoon or something else with an outboard you can trim up you won’t have issue. Our issue is we draft a couple feet and the Chanel is only 2 feet in some areas. The furniture and bedding was very clean and you can tell Carol takes care of her rental. We will most definitely be back.

Relax on the Lake

Comfortable and relaxing house on the lake. Clean! Big kitchen! Lovely deck and huge fenced lawn. Note that one side of the yard is the lake. This might not be safe for small children or dogs who jump in any body of water, but for us it was perfect! So scenic!

Wonderful house

The house is exactly as pictured, modern, clean, with cute finishes throughout. The deck and backyard were perfect, and I especially appreciated the fully fenced yard for our dogs. The location is a bit off the lake, and if you don't bring your own boat or rent something, you're not going to swim in the shallow cove water. The public boat ramp and park are a stone's throw across the water, and are rather active. Makes for good people watching, but not quite as peaceful as you may expect. From the local activity, seems like good fishing right off the dock! That said, we really enjoyed our stay, and the host was great. I think anyone would overlook the "off the lake location" if you add a few kayaks for use!
