Yeah I was very disappointed because they said that the AC went out and they sent two guys over there to put portable units in but they did not work refunds so it was very hot for our expected our stay and they never sent anybody back And the funny thing of it is is I work for three management companies we have 360 homes that I do the maintenance for Jan I could’ve taken care of that or any of my properties but I’m really surprised they didn’t send somebody back when the two units that they put in there did not work and I told him that ahead of time that they’re not working but they did nothing

June Lake Days

Our family had an amazing weekend at Turtle Cove! We absolutely loved having access to the paddle board and kayaks. The cove is so quiet and calm that we had it to ourselves most of the weekend. Sitting on the deck in the morning, drinking coffee and watching the wildlife come alive was very serene. I thought the safety gate/ fencing around the deck was a fantastic touch for families with smaller children.The Lake House is a bit older, but lovingly cared for. Kitchen drawers stuck a bit, but that is to be expected in an older property. The beds were comfortable and the AC worked beautifully. We loved having family movie night all together on the sectional sofa.My aunt and uncle stayed in the 2nd house, the lake view. This house was absolutely gorgeous with its renovations! They loved the wine refrigerator and ice machine. It was modern and very comfortable.We would stay here again in the future. It was amazing.

2 children’s kayaks were available, as well as a Lily pad and paddle board.
Paddle board was included as well as lots of life jackets in various sizes.

Great Spot for a Spring Break Lake Getaway

This property had all that was needed to keep adults and teenagers occupied over Spring Break. We enjoyed having a boat slip and dock for ease of our boat rental delivery and docking. The kids had a blast with the lilypad and kayaks and SUP. The two houses were great when the kids needed their own space (and the adults, too!). We plan on visiting this property again over the summer if we're able. Thanks for a great stay!

Great Vacation on LBJ

Property manager is very responsive and easy to communicate with. Love the texting feature for questions or issues with near immediate responsiveness. The property is on a calm channel with plenty of parking for your water toys. The listing is still slightly confusing as to where the second house is, however, after reading the reviews, I knew that it was accross and slightly down the street. The second house truly makes the property great for two families. Very convenient access to a neighborhood boat ramp only about five houses down from this property. Also plenty of room to park your trailer. We would definitely come here again. It was a great vacation.

Perfect for 2 families on vacation with KIDS!

We had 13 adult women, so the bunk beds were a bit of a challenge for us, but we made it work. The houses were really great. The one on the water has such a great deck and patio and water toys. The across the street house was more newly remodeled and the interior was nicer. I would say the pictures are accurate 'and' the rooms in reality are quite small and in the water house, the room that has 2 bunked beds and 1 trundle has no closet so 5 people and 5 suitcases just did not fit, so some stored things in the master bedroom. This is what I meant by great place for kids! Parents get big room/ private bath and kids get bunk beds and other bath. Would like to emphasize how great the managing company is. They were great communicators from the initial contact up until departure. I thank them for all their great communications. If 2 families want to vacation here, this is a PERFECT place. The houses are kitty-corner from one another, on a quite road along the canal. There were deer everywhere along the drive in and geese visited us every day. It worked well for the most part, but if you are to the max # they sleep, with all adults, you will be crowded. Kids, you will be fine.

Worth the Stay

It is important to catch that this is actually 2 homes across the street from each. The one home on the lake is great, especially if you want to boat from your back door. Adults need to bring their own kayak. But the 2 kids kayak work well. You will love the back patio area! Enjoy!

Great location and tons of outdoor space

Very clean and comfortable houses. The outdoor lakeside areas appeared recently remodeled/refreshed and were the stars of the property - plenty of seating in the shade, in the sun, and right by the water for the whole family to enjoy. The available boat slip, the waverunner roller ramp, and the swim decking made for easy entry/exit for our ski boat and 5 kayaks that we brought. We played cornhole in the spacious front yard. We had trouble getting into the houses when we first got there due to door lock code not working, but got a phone call back within about 20 minutes to resolve the issue. We have already booked it again for next year!

Quiet Cove

This is a quiet Cove perfect for a weekend getaway with the kids. We only needed the one home, but perfect for two families as well. House was clean and cozy. The cove was very quiet and a great location. Close proximity to Horseshoe Bay Club. Only mention is the listing shows a new boat lift and there wasn't a boat lift. Other than that, the house is a great option for larger families or two families traveling together.

Cute house on LBJ, close ramp, lake floats provided!

We had a great time and enjoyed our stay. We normally go to Canyon Lake but so thankful we choose LBJ and this rental. Having the seperate two houes was great for family that wanted to relax more. We were having difficulty with the wifi in the main house, but I ended up figuring out that the router became unplugged by a childs suitcase that knocked it out because it is plugged into the wall in the bunkbed room. This was obviously our oops but giving everyone else a heads up if you are having difficulty.

Spring Break 2023

Two families of 5 stayed at this property. We had a great time. Even though it was a little cold, there was still plenty to do. Smores by the fire, fishing, grilling, watching March madness games from the patio TV. The kids even got in the water a couple times when the sun was out. The only thing I'd say to add to the listing is that there is one house right on the water and one house across the street and over a bit. That was not super clear. I thought one property had two homes on it. But, I will say that is not a big deal at all. Everything worked out. Both families hung out at the lake house outside most of the time. The internet was a bit spotty at the lake house from time to time, but again, not a big deal when you're enjoying the lake.
