La cama estaba rota y la solución que nos ofrecieron fue poner el colchón en el piso. Tengo 71 años y no puedo hacer eso. Tuvimos que marcharnos a nuestra casa en Miami y cancelar nuestro paseo. Comuniqué a la administración de ese lugar y nos marchamos. La ubicación del lugar era en una casa con dirección diferente a la que aparece en el app.

El lugar es maravillosa, se siente como en casa, limpio y muy lindo, excelente para descansar. No me gustó que no tuviera wifi, todo lo demás PERFECTO!

Cute little property with a fun vibe. Great pet friendly motel cottages. Fun tiki bar and friendly owners/ managers. I stayed 1 night for the 7 mile bridge race. The walls are thin and it is located next to the airport. Taco stand on property.

Wow where do I start… first not a cottage but a trailer park… filthy! I mean disgusting dirty… old dirty pillows, dirty sheets, holes in the walls, windows that don’t close, garbage everywhere around the property, raccoons basically attacking you if you need to go to your car at night! We got out of there! They don’t state it up front but all their reservations are non-refundable. They do not invest anything into these places, they take peoples money and give no refunds. Read reviews! Also look at google reviews! Wish I would have done my research - marketing videos etc on Expedia are a scam property not like this at all!! Beware!! Do not lose your hard earned money like we did! Our stay was March 2024 - RUN AWAY!

Property was great and tucked away , was clean , ac worked extremely well. The only issue I had was the room I was in had an extremely cracked and loose tile that I almost sliced my foot on right next to the bed , walls are pretty thin and we could hear the people in the room next to us . But bed was comfy plenty of towels . There was a gratuity envelope to tip the cleaning staff , so bring cash .

I didn’t like the management or lack of Communication. We had problems which were not taken as seriously as they should have been. Deceptive advertising led us to choose a cottage, but we ended up with a room…leaky sink, and complete disregard for customer satisfaction.

We recently stayed at tropical cottages in Marathon Florida and unfortunately, it was a complete disappointment. The exorbitant price did not match the dismal experience. The mattress was sagging and uncomfortable, making it nearly impossible to get a decent night's sleep. Even if it did allow SO and myself to “meet in the middle”. Additionally, even though WIFI was advertised and a criteria in our choice of location, the quality of this service was incredibly inconvenient, especially for travelers who rely on internet access. Broken floor tiles and dirty windows full with dead flies and more….The outdoor bathroom was unhygienic and unpleasant, leaving much to be desired in terms of privacy. The wall separating our room from the other guests was paper thin giving the impression that we were actually sharing our room with others. Overall, I would not recommend this hotel to anyone looking for a comfortable and enjoyable stay. We would have better slept in our car.

The location was excellent as well as the quietness. Overall the Sand Dollar room we stayed in was clean. The room was freshly painted with no markings on the walls and it was clearly cleaned well, BUT the bathroom needs attention. The tub has built up grime and the floor looks dirty because it needs scrubbed, although I don't think you would see dirt on a towel if you wiped, it is just build up. There is also a urine smell in the bathroom. I tried to clean the floor (which showed no signs of dirt on my paper towel by the way) and that did not do the trick. The only light in the room is the ceiling fan, no lights next to either side of the bed. Overall our stay was good and we would stay here again.

Great spot. Rooms were clean. Sofa bed was very uncomfortable and squeaky but the bed was great. Loved the online check in and check out process. Would stay here again.

They have their own Tiki Bar on premises and a food truck as well. Descent property. Cute cabins. Not bad for the 15 dollar an hour wage earner.

Unique if you can call it that the outside toilet was different but you got used to it ..then the film crew turned up..woken up at 7.30 to the sound of there truck being unloaded all this talking and laughing as you are trying to do your business with them two feet from you ,.then there tiki hut closed for a makeover we left aday early we came for rest not mayhem..the owners were good about it and returned our money for the one day and with absolutely no problem

Wi-Fi only works next to the office. Tiki bar closed for filming. Not told prior to booking Taco truck also closed! Would have had top marks if all 3 items were available during our stay. No transparency from the management team.

We stayed in the octopus offsite studio. It was very clean and very nicely decorated. The beds were comfortable and it was nice that there was a kitchen with everything that we needed. It was good value considering the prices in the area.

The cabin was perfect, clean and exactly what we were looking for. Staff was friendly and accomodating. Loved the Tiki bar and taco truck on site! HIghly recommend, we will absolutely be back!

Great location. Loved being on the canal. TV didn't work. No one could fix it. Fans only operated with lights on; therefore, no fans at night. Hole in screen. Kayaks there but not allowed to use them. Spacious. Kitchen could have used wine glasses, corkscrew, dish soap and rag. Food truck was good! Charming old Florida.

Cute property with individual bungalows. The unit we stayed in had a small private garden. Was perfect for travelling with pets. There is an airport close by and the property is on the flight path so it can be intermittently noisy. Like most of the Keys it’s pricy but well worth a stay

Based on photos and description of property, we thought we were getting a cottage, however it was just a room in a cottage. We arrived after dark and were unable to see the room number as there was no lighting near the doors. The room appeared clean however the shower was very outdated, old tile and tub that didn't drain, yucky. The beds were old and lumpy. We were awakened at 4am by a rooster right next to the door that didn't stop until around 9am.
