Fabulous place to stay with my family! The house had every amenity you could want, and then some, and there was something for everyone. The new pool was great to use-large enough for all of us, and relaxing. Communication with hosts was top notch-friendly, professional, prompt and welcoming. Recommendations were also helpful and accurate. Extremely clean, and ample supply of towels. Loved the yard, the neighborhood, and the space. Perfect location for all your Keys adventures. Hope to return sometime!

Secluded, clean stay in Marathon

Clean property, short walk to Sunset Park. A short drive to area beaches and delicious restaurants and local attractions. We enjoyed using the private pool, surrounded by trees just steps outside the house.

Great location and host

Family of three looking for a quiet place in or near Marathon and Duck Key - this was the spot. Very quiet street with pleasant neighbors - great for walking the dog. Easy to get to the popular spots in Marathon. Host was an excellent communicator and the local recommendations were spot on. Appliances were in perfect order and the property was very clean. Thanks for a great week in the Keys !

Perfect in Every Way

Our family spent a week at this property and it was exactly as listed. It was clean and had all the amenities we needed. The location is in a beautiful and quiet neighborhood. Restaurants, activities for the kids and stores were all within 10-15 minutes, making it super convenient. Katie was very responsive to any questions we had. We love the keys and plan on coming back. We highly recommend!

Cute house, but...

Pros: The property is cute, the rooms are comfortable, and the outside space is cozy. Cons: The kitchen was very dirty (grimy counters, greasy handles, caked-on food on the dishes, something gross in the freezer), the dishwasher didn't work, and the garbage cans outside were overflowing. As there were zero cleaning supplies, we had to buy them and clean the kitchen (and the garbage) before settling in. Overall, we enjoyed our stay, but we wouldn't stay again due to the condition of the property.

Beautiful house, very nice pool and patio!

Very nice house, very clean, beautiful patio, nice pool, big screen tv in every room, nice sized bedrooms and comfortable beds, very spacious and comfortable living room, dining and kitchen area. There's a lot of tropical vegetation surrounding the house and pool. A very friendly chicken came to visit us multiple times. It is across the street from the water. There are private residenses all along the coast line except for a small park with a dock about a mile down the road suitable for a kayak launch. Much more value for the money than we saw on this site for the Marathon area.

Not bad, not great

This property did not quite live up to our expectations for the amount that we paid to stay here. Pros: The living spaces and bedrooms were arranged nicely, and the beds were comfortable. The neighborhood is very peaceful and enjoyable to walk in. Appreciated the convenience of a washer and dryer. Cons: Dishwasher was broken, refrigerator was leaking water at the bottom so we had to place a towel there, trash bag and paper towels were not provided as described until the third day of our stay (even if they had been, we still would’ve had to go to the store to buy paper towels, toilet paper, and trash bags for our four night stay because they only supply 1-2 days which seems silly for the price of this property), the master bedroom TV did not work, the pool was full of bees on the first day and wasn’t cleaned until the second day. Was not a bad experience overall, but I would not stay here again because for the price of the property, there were too many inconveniences.

Relaxing get away

We really enjoyed our stay at The Hideaway! The home is beautifully decorated and very relaxing. We took full advantage of the pool and had a blast. We all were very comfortable and slept well. We will definitely be back.

Family vacay

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay here. The location was great, being a halfway point between Key Largo and Key West. The neighborhood was quiet and pretty. We liked visiting the park down the street for sunset.

Enjoyed Staying Here!

We booked this trip to celebrate my daughter's 21st birthday. We wanted to stay in Marathon as it's centrally located in the Keys, and found this lovely home. The house was super clean and comfortable, located in a quiet cozy neighborhood, and was everything it advertised. I will definitely stay here again!

Marathon Getaway

Beautiful home and excellent follow up with the owner

I would highly recommend renting this property. The decorating was beach associated, had an excellent area to grill and eat outdoors. We had trouble with the air conditioner the day before we left. Katelyn was awesome! She had someone at the home within a few hours to repair. The home was very clean with nice bed linens and towels. If you are not looking for waterfront and don’t want to stay in the busy area of Marathon Key then this is place is perfect for you! ,

Great little find

We vacation regularly in Marathon and Islamorada but usually book a villa at a resort. We decided this year to rent a house and found this one. The location was great and was much better than what we usually rent. I highly recommend it.
