The house is beautiful, clean and has lots of space. The pool and spa were awesome. It’s set away from the traffic and congestion but easily accessible to everything. Ideal for family or multi-couple vacations. Would definitely rent there again!

About this property

The property was in a great location close to everything the beaches were amazing. The house when we came in overall was super clean but the floors were ever dirty. You can’t see it but your feet see it. The pool and the jacuzzi were freezing. When I contacted the manager they didn’t respond and didn’t even care to respond which was kinda frustrating because we really wanted to use the jacuzzi but it was so cold. Other than those 3 things. It was great.

Nice place, needs better maintenance

Needs to be cleaned up, and a few repairs. Not worth the price we paid, in my opinion, but it was still enjoyable.

Great place to stay!

We had a group of 3 couples and there was plenty of room for everyone, we never felt crowded. The house is exactly as listed, or even better than the pictures show! The pool and tiki bar were a great place to hang out. We rented a boat for the week and there was plenty of room to dock it. The canals were easy to navigate and a great location! The team was quick to answer any questions we had, easy check in and check out procedures! They did have landscaping come in midway through the trip, which wasn’t ideal but they worked quickly. If it hasn’t been raining we would have been out on the water and would have never known! We will be staying here again! Highly recommend!

Great Location

Close to Sombrero Reef by boat. House was well laid out and clean. Pool area was nice with plenty of outdoor seating and a fish cleaning table. The accuracy of the listing was inaccurate, showed 2 twin beds in one of the rooms but there was one queen bed which we weren't expecting. My family and I enjoy boating,snorkeling,and fishing and this house was great for that. Would recommend

Very nice house on a canal in Marathon

We greatly enjoyed our stay at Sweet Retreat. Plenty of room for three couples. Pool was great — very happy we asked for it to be heated in mid-February. Water was perfect. Our son brought his boat (22 footer) and had no difficulty with egress even at low tide. It does take a bit of time to navigate the canals to get to open water, but the scenery is great on the way. Overall very happy!

Beautiful home Great location!!

Family with 3 kids a golden retriever and mother in law with her dog. We absolutely loved this place and location. My wife is already wanting to go back. We will definitely go back again if this house is available. Our kids loved the keys and loved this house.

Family vacation to Marathon

Overall this house was everything in the review. We saw manatee everyday in the canal behind house and a seahorse! The pool was really nice , clean and big. The manager we spoke to about an issue promptly took care of our request. We would stay here again.

Great house to meet needs of family

Great property. Worked well for 4 adults and one teenager. Location was central for grocery shopping and fishing with our boat. Great parking and fun toys like the paddle boards and kayaks. The pool was great and there were options for seating inside and out. All in all it was perfect for us and made a great stay for an amazing trip.

Everything was great; pool, patio, location and interior. My only issue is that the canal IS NOT accessible by boat at low tide. We had to move our 22' center console to a marina to use it.

Exactly what we needed

Beautiful property, clean and relaxing. Nice location in the middle keys. The kitchen is very nice. The only concern we had was that the pool and particularly the spa weren't real warm. We weren't told ahead of time that paying for a heated spa meant the temp would be a maxumum of 92 degrees (it really did t get to that temp or stay there very long). The weather in Jan can be a little chilly in the evenings and we wanted to relax in the spa but couldn't.

Very SWEET Week

What a wonderful house -- there was five of us -- me, my husband and 3 sons -- it fit us so well -- we loved the pool and spent a lot of time in it in the morning and then in the evening -- I would definitely recommend swimming with the dolphins at the Dolphin Institute -- we had such an awesome week and weather couldn't of been better -- thank you so much !!!!!

Beautiful home

The home was beautiful and in a neighborhood with easy access to grocery and restaurants. PLEASE NOTE: At the time of booking we were unaware of the extra fee for the pool to be heated, so we had to pay an extra $250. Moreover, the hot tub is UNUSABLE unless you pay the heat fee for the pool, which should also be stated somewhere. The kitchen is very well stocked and the beds are very comfortable.

Amazing!!!

What a great house. So clean and beautifully decorated. It has everything you need to relax and enjoy the Keys. The pool was awesome and the access to the Atlantic or Gulf was so short and easy. Our boat looked awesome on the dock!! The property manager was always available for us when we had a question. She was great. We will definitely book again!!
