The property was perfect for our family of six adults and two children. We enjoyed the spacious house, pool, hot tub and found the kitchen well equipped with dinnerware and cooking utensils.

Great location

Property is a very short kayak away from Sombrero beach and surrounding areas. We caught several fish off the dock. It was a great place for a group of 7!

Great Holiday Stay in the Keys

Elias is a great host. Very personable and easy to talk with. The house is was perfect for our two family’s with people having their own bathrooms and loads of space. The house is very quiet at night and the pool area is wonderful to relax at. We rented a boat and docked it at the house for the week. No issues with access or water levels just ran slow coming and going. We would stay here again!!

Great vacation by the sea.

We had a wonderful time at this location. The house was clean and very accommodating. The pool and hot tub were great and the view from the balconies were outstanding. The bedrooms were large and the family room ( with a pool table) was a great area for entertaining. It also had a large porch area off the family room on the second floor that was a great place to relax It is close to the beach and public shopping area. If you are looking for a nice place to vacation I would definitely recommend this house.

Beautiful Marathon !

Our week vacation in this home was truly wonderful. The owner is responsible and available at all times for any questions or concerns. The home is lovely and location is fabulous. We could not have asked for better weather or accomodations. If this home is available, do not heistate to book your vacation here,,,,you will not be disappointed.

Fantastic family time

We stayed for Christmas and had a fantastic time with family. The weather was a little un cooperative but that is just living in Florida. Overall house was gorgeous, and the owners were extremely responsive and helpful! Highly recommend this property for others.

Unique Island Hideaway

We spent a week at this property celebrating our son's birthday. The owner was very accommodating and easy to communicate with. Overall, we enjoyed our stay and the property was as depicted. We were able to keep our 28' boat at the dock behind the property. However, the driveway is difficult to maneuver with a truck and trailer

House is in need of repairs. Kayak's are not in any shape to use. Canal is weedy and dirty do not able to snorkel. Views are excellent though.

Perfect location

We were a family of 10, six adults and four kids (ages 14-9). The house was very clean and the owner was there when we arrived. The owners checked with us via text to insure that everything was fine. Pool and hot tub were well maintained as was the landscaping. We rented a 24 foot boat for the week and had no issues even at low tide with the water depth at the dock. The kitchen was well stocked and all the appliances worked. AC unit kept the house comfortable in every room. The only negative thing are the no-see-umms…but you’re in the Keys and there’s no getting away from them😏 We’d definitely rent again!

Wonderful Christmas Stay

What an amazing time we had staying in Marathon at this home. The home was just as advertised. It was beautiful and well kept. The kitchen was well equipped and everything in the home was in great working order. The pool was beautiful and well taken care of. We opted to have the pool heated and it was the best part of the trip for our children. The dock was in great shape, and we enjoyed spending time there, even though we chose not to rent a boat. The views from the top deck were unmatched and the home is literally a 2-minute drive to Sombrero Beach which was absolutely great. The homeowner was wonderful. He was in contact regularly to make things were going well and he was very attentive and prompt to any little issue we had. This place is a dream, and I would highly recommend to anyone wanting a great get away in the Florida Keys! We will definitely be back!

Tingler Island Delight

Spacious multi-level home, with 4 large bedrooms, each with it’s own en suite, and one of which is a mother-in-law efficiency. The kitchen was well equipped for the nights we cooked dinner. There is also a grill downstairs by the pool. The home is surrounded by mature landscaping giving the property a lush, tropical feel. The hermit crabs, land crabs and iguana’s, made for fun nature watching walks around the island. The draw of coming to the Key’s for us is to fish, lobster, boat and relax. The jacuzzi and pool were nice to relax in at night, after a long day of boating. We had fun playing on the pool table on a rainy day. The canal behind the house is shallow at low tide, which Elias told us about before we arrived. He advised us to bring the 26ft boat, versus the 36ft boat, which was much appreciated. In addition, the driveway can be tricky backing in a trailer because it is framed with large rocks. Please note the home does have lots of stairs and no elevator. Stairs were fine for us, but may present an issue for people with limited mobility. The rooftop deck provides a beautiful bird’s-eye view at sunrise, and sunset. It is also perfect for star gazing. The home is not new, but suited our needs. We had a wonderful family vacation, and I would recommend this home to other travelers. Elias and his wife Marie are a phone call away should you need anything.

Perfect Family Vacation

I am so glad that we booked this property for our Spring family vacation! The house is gorgeous & very spacious- perfect for a large family or couples. Every room of this home was very clean, well kept and stocked with essentials. The location alone provides an array of fun-filled vacation options: we rented a boat and kept it right at the dock, paddled the kayaks around the canal and walked to Sombreo Beach. The pool is refreshing after a day on the boat or beach (we had it heated & temp was great). The views are spectacular from each balcony and observation deck. We also enjoyed the pool table with a family competition. Elias is very responsive and cares about his guests. I would highly recommend Elias & Marie's rental properties & we will be staying again.

Great week

Had a great week at the house. Perfect location for Marathon and all the amenities for anything you’d like to do. Only downside is the layout is not ultimately that kid friendly. If we go back to marathon I would definitely stay there again.

Wonderfull Vacation

We have been spending February in the keys for many years now. I have to say this was one of our very best experiences. The house was impeccably clean., well furnished and equipped. The location is great. Sombrero Beach is a walkable distance away (about .5miles) and the grocery shopping is a short drive. The view from the roof deck was spectacular and my 5 year granddaughter and I would go up there at night to count the stars. We paid to heat the pool and it was extremely comfortable (90-95F). I already miss my Keys sauna i.e., going from the 100F hot tub into the 95F pool. Elias is very responsive to any request or issue and if he doesn't answer immediately calls back in 10 minutes or less. To summarize: good house, great location and fantastic owner. We will definitely rent this property again!

Beautiful Marathon home!

The property was very clean, beds were very comfortable, plenty of pans, appliances and dishes. Plenty of towels, chairs and pool chairs. We paid for pool heat and the pool was like bath water! Owner responded immediately with any questions we had.. we felt safe and location was great. Overall a great experience and we would stay here again!

Read House met all my expectations

Overall a very very nice property to rent. The owner was always available and friendly. The house came with a really nice supply of toiletries and towels. I would recommend this house anybody who wants to stay in Marathon in. Lastly, he did not have an abundance of rules to follow.

Great family vacation with the family!

Elias was extremely accommodating! Allowed for early check in and late check out! All communication was timely and accurate! This was a planned family trip to a spot our brother visited often, sadley he passed this year. This trip meant a lot to us and it was everything we wanted and then some. Thank you Elias we truly appreciate everything! The spa nearby was great! The jet skis and sunset sail was special at A-Affordable Jet-Ski rentals Wakeszone. Went to Isla Bella Resort Spa- Wonderful Massage! They have a couple great restaurants on the beach. You can go there even if you are not staying at the resort! Beautiful! Went to Florida Keys Steak and Lobster- great meal and service! Thank you again! Enjoyment with Family and Friends in a great house- Everything else is just a bonus!!!!

Family vacation

Our experience was amazing. The owner was very, very responsive and helpful. The home is beautiful and we were able to cook most meals there, kayak to the beach, And enjoy the beautiful pool. I would definitely rent this beauty again.
