Convenient location to Sombrero Beach, great walking area & convenient to shops. Plenty of parking for several cars and a boat trailer. Beautiful, spacious dock & pool with plenty of foliage and wildlife to enjoy. Charming house was clean, comfy beds & lots of towels and dishes. Our only complaint was the intermittent wifi. Definitely would stay again!

Manatee House

Another successful family vacation and a week in Paradise! This was the first trip to the keys for my grandchildren and they loved it. They named the house the manatee house because of our little visitors we had in the evening time. The house was perfect and just as described. I have been coming down to the keys for 10yrs and this was by far one of my favorite houses. Thank you for sharing your slice of paradise with us, a lot of memories were made the week!

Nice house

Easy check-in and out process. Good location on the canal. Recommend future renters bring your own towels. We were thankful we brought our own. House only includes a few older towels. All in all it’s a nice place to stay with family & friends.

Perfect Location!

This house was a perfect fit for my family and friends during our Spring Break! The location was wonderful! We were walking distance to Sombrero Beach which we noticed would get very busy and difficult to find parking. It also has a Publix at the end of the road and a light to go out to the main road which was such a help with how bad traffic can be. The pool area was private and a beautiful landscape for family photos. We even had a daily visit from a local iguana which was fun to see! The property management was extremely friendly, attentive and quick to respond to any of our questions! Check in and check out couldn’t have been easier. We had 4 adults and 3 children and this property was exactly what we hoped for!

Exactly as pictured.

Great property, well managed, and we thoroughly enjoyed our two week stay. Marathon is very much a fishing and boating village, so that is the primary attraction. I do wish the property offered something in the way of beach chairs and umbrella for trips to Sombrero Beach or Bahia Honda for those of us that flew in. Florida Keys Steak and Lobster and Sparky's Landing are restaurants to consider. Nor'easter Fishing charter was superb.

Relaxing getaway

Was an excellent home and property for my family of 6 to enjoy. Loved 5 minute walks to Sombrero beach, coffee on screened porch each morning, and poolside cookouts in the evening. Landscaping is peaceful. Would have liked beach chairs/ toys and fishing gear to use with the kids.

Wonderful Home!

Lovely indoor and outdoor space. Kids loved the resident iguanas, screened porch was fantastic when gnats came out in the evening, interior was spacious and airy, proximity to Sombrero beach was perfect (and what a gorgeous beach it is!). Had a rental boat so the dock was key and we enjoyed every bit of our stay at the house and our and about in the beautiful Florida Keys. Sombrero Reef was incredible!

Great location and backyard!

The house was perfectly located. Close to the beach and any shops or restaurants you’d need. The privacy of the backyard was fabulous. Perfect size home for our family of 5 with bait freezer, stocked kitchen utensils, pool area and dock. House did have a slightly musty smell and kitchen especially needed a quick clean when we arrived. Linens/pillows also a bit dated. None of this however was enough for us to not rent this place again!

Generally very good. We would have expected more than 2 sun beds for 6 occupants. The twin bed room is not as shown. There is one large single and a very low lying super king squashed in. Nice netted balcony and open space below.

convenient vacation home

Easy walk to Sombrero Beach. Very convenient to grocery, liquor store, nature adventures and restaurants. Loved the pool and canal areas. Easy deliveries of and nice area to kayak and boat. Fairly updated home. Room temperature was difficult to regulate. Landscaping attempts to give privacy but proximity to neighbors is very close - can hear all conversations, music, etc. Check-out expectations far exceeded anything we have ever encountered in the 15 years of renting in the Keys.

Very nice

Very nice house with a great boat dock & pool! We had only 1 small complaint & that was with the TV. We only had service & use of the main TV on the 1st night. After that 1st night we weren't able to get service. Also, it would be nice if there were directions on how to use the TV & it's remotes. Otherwise, it was a great house!

Clean!! And great location

Lovely week enjoying this home. Nice dock on deep canal for our boat. Beautiful backyard with cute pool, grills. Upstairs screened deck with chairs. Lovely home that was pristine ... the cleaning crew needs a bonus! The owners equipped the home with everything we would need, including beach towels and big freezer downstairs for ice and your day's catch. Yard well maintained. Very pleased with owners and property management. Quiet neighbors. Close to Sombrero Beach and Publix. We've always stayed in Key West, but thought we would try Marathon. Very happy with our decision and would love to stay at this gone again.
