Juan is a wonderful host! This house is located on a very quiet road that is easily accessible to everything! Juan promptly replied to all of our inquiries and questions before, during and after our stay. This home is very clean and organized. It has everything you will need- pots, pans, utensils, seasonings, coffee filters, soaps, beach towels, and bath towels, etc. Downstairs, he has kayaks, a paddleboard, bicycles, beach chairs, beach umbrella, mask, snorkels, fishing pole with lures for your use. We kayaked every day and explored different areas as well as Shands Key (we saw a couple of turtles around there each time we went out) and saw stingrays, turtles, nurse sharks and other kinds of fish throughout our ten day stay. It was easiest to launch the kayaks around high tide. There is also a walking/biking path on Aviation Blvd that is shaded in the morning that you can easily walk to from the house. We recommend visiting the Turtle Hospital (best to make reservations), Bahia Honda State Park, Curry Hammock State Park and the two mile walk/bike on the old Seven Mile Bridge to Pigeon Key (or take the train ride there). This is also where you will see the most beautiful sunsets. If the parking lot is full, you can park across the street near the Sunset Grille. Such a magical place! Thanks for sharing your piece of paradise with us, Juan!
