This house is the full package and has everything that you need or would think you need for a truly enjoyable week on Key Colony. We only used the upstairs portion of the house, and it provided a well-equipped kitchen for making chicken nuggets to cooking our fresh catch. We used the grill and ate outside most nights near the pool, hot tub, and ping pong table. The dock was much more than we needed for our 18' Pioneer, but when we come back, we will definitely bring friends and at least one more boat which would more than fit. We enjoyed sitting on the dock and caught a number of Mangrove snapper and a variety of other fish. We used the chum bag on the dock and their minnow net to see what we could catch and ended up with pictures of an octopus and stone crab. We had a manatee visit one evening which was a nice surprise. Two things that I hadn't thought of that turned out to be huge were the ice machine that made plenty of ice for our coolers on the boat and the chest freezer for storing cleaned fish and bait. The week was pretty windy which is the norm for this time of year. The house is in a great location to jump out into the ocean or running around to the bay through Vaca Cut. We enjoyed fishing in the mangroves all the same. We caught a Spanish Mackerel trolling in the canals with a top water plug. Such a blast!
