We were a group of 4 couples. The house was absolutely perfect for us. It is beautifully decorated, well stocked and immaculately clean. Sean our host went above and beyond our expectations. We spent many afternoons hanging out and having drinks by the pool. We spotted a mother manatee with baby by the dock. We would definitely rent this house again when in the area.

We stay a week in Marathon every year. This was by far the most accommodating house we have stayed in. The house had everything you need for a great vacation. We were especially pleased with the 4 master suites and the ice maker. Highly recommended.

The house and location was prefect. We had 3 couples in a 4 bedroom house so there was plenty of room. Each room had its own tv, large bathroom, fridge and coffee bar. The outside living had everything you could think of. Very nice pool, shower, bathroom, grill and it was all extremely clean.

The house was perfect! It was set up to enjoy every min. We loved the room downstairs by the pool with the extra refrigerator, deep freezer, and especially the ice machine!! We would definitely stay here again. The management company was very attentive and kind and the house was spotless.

We have been coming to the Florida Keys for years, but this was our first time staying in Marathon. It is a beautiful area and the Grouper Home was the perfect retreat after a day of fishing or having fun at the sandbar. It is a beautiful home and property with everything needed for a great vacation. The layout of the home with 4 masters was perfect for our family. Having the boat ramp near, along with the spacious dock made it even better. The management was easy to communicate and available for any questions. We had a great time at the Grouper Home and look forward to planning future stays.

Grouper House

Our stay at the Grouper house was amazing. The house was gorgeous and they had amazing amenities. When we had a few minor issues, Happy in the Keys property management came over very quickly. Very nice personnel. We loved the pool and the dock. We loved having the boat slip right beside the house. We will definitely book this house again.

Absolutely perfect week

We (family and friends aged 3-82) rented both the Grouper House and Super Grouper for the week leading up to our son’s wedding. We brought so many ch with us that we didn’t need because the houses were so well furnished! Large platters, boards for charcuterie- they had everything we needed to prepare and serve dinners for all 16 of us!

The property was so beautiful!

It had everything that four adult couples could need. Plenty of personal space with each couple having a king bed suite with their own personal baths. Two extra half baths with one by the pool. Also an outdoor shower by the pool. The attention from Sean and Jose during the weather concerns of hurricane Milton, put our minds at ease. Seriously we are already discussing our return.

A great property and very attentive management staff. Any questions were addressed right away. Listing just as in person. Good location in a quiet area with access to waterfront - beach and canal. We were able to paddle and fish off the dock for low key days.

Family vacation at Grouper House

What a great property! My family and I were VERY impressed with the house, the location, the cleanliness, and responsiveness of the Happy in the Keys team. It all made for a wonderful week in the Keys. The cherry on top was when our neighbors in Super Grouper gave us a mackerel fish they caught that day, which turned into an excellent grilled dinner for us. Would definitely return for a future stay again, wonderful experience all around.

Great Place To Go & Relax

Our family, all adults, had a fabulous relaxing time at this beautiful house. The living area was on one floor with including the 4 king sized bedroom each with an on-suite that included coffee and wine bar. The pool was downstairs and it was amazing. Great size for our family. There was also a TV should you enjoy watching movies while in the pool which we definitely did! There were many places to eat and shop in Marathon. We went to Key West to celebrate our youngest daughter’s 21st birthday. Everyone had a blast! If you are looking for an amazing place to relax and enjoy your family or friends Grouper House is a perfect place to go!!!

Happy-In-The-Keys sets the bar for vacation rentals...

Grouper House was well maintained and stocked with all your needs for cooking (utensils), towels, fishing accessories (bait freezer - separate fridge/freezer and ice machine). The layout allowed family and friends time together with privacy where it counts (all masters with coffee bars). A few concerns upon arriving were dealt with by a friendly maintenance staff same day. The private boat ramp is shared with other rentals by the same management company - that was not clear when we rented the space but it was not an issue at all. Parking was more than adequate, and they even had a separate trailer parking area. The management and maintenance team are AMAZING! They provided lots of information about the rental, surrounding area and go beyond to make sure your vacation is relaxing and enjoyable. Worth every penny! Thank you for a great family get away!

Loved this property ! With each room having its own master bath it was so ideal traveling with a group! The pool overlooking the canal and private boat ramp was chef’s kiss! Kitchen was stocked well and each room had a coffee maker ! We will stay here again !

OUTSTANDING IN EVERY WAY!

Super Grouper is THE BEST vacation property out there! We've stayed all over The Keys in many different houses, and this home is a stunner! We had 5 couples in our group and the 5 identical master bedroom suites was wonderful. But that's only the beginning. The home is gorgeous and offers beautiful "community spaces" where friends can gather and also has lots of "tucked away" spaces in case you'd like a little quiet time. The kitchen is gourmet and has every amenity under the sun. I could say a million more things about this home. It far surpassed our expectations and we've already rebooked it for next year!

I will return next year for 3rd time!!

We stayed at the Grouper House in 2017 and loved every minute of our time there. We just returned for another week in May of 2022 and it’s only gotten better. The owners came over and met us and it was like we were talking with old friends. I can’t say enough about Marty, Stanley and of course Kim. We didn’t want to leave and wish we had reserved two weeks. Every bedroom is a master and totally takes you away to an island where you can step away from the family fun and take some time to relax. The bedding was amazing. I have already ordered the quilt that was on the bed for our own bed at home. I want to ask them the name of the mattress. So incredibly comfortable. The house and pool were spotless upon our arrival. We ran to Publix got everything we needed for the week and ate every meal at the dining room table and told old family stories. What a great time. The weather did not disappoint either. The reefs were so much fun and we were able to filet our fresh catch on the dock at the dish cleaning station. Just a few hints for anyone planning on staying at the Grouper House. The owners ask that you take everything with you and I totally agree with them especially during these uncertain times. So plan on bringing dish soap, shower accessories, laundry detergent and spices you enjoy cooking with. The fridge downstairs and the ice machine we’re invaluable. The boat ramp worked perfectly and the dock is fantastic. It’s everything you would want in your own home. We will be back again soon! Nancy
