"Good mixture of locals and guests created a friendly atmosphere in the bar/restaurant area. Room was bright, spacious and very comfortable "

"The room was pleasant, but the glass door between the bedroom and the toilet and shower area was odd and rather off putting. The bed was comfortable, and we got a good nights sleep. Breakfast was adequate, but the cereal, and other cold buffet items were uninspiring. All in all, a bit dull, particularly since a refurbishment was done in 2019. Ok for a night or two though."

"What a lovely little place! The staff are 10/10 fantastic! Each and every one I had contact with, did a great, friendly, welcoming, smiley job! If I’m honest.. the decor could do with an update (old carpets with stains in the walking areas and bedroom) - other than that little nugget, I have already booked back in for the same occasion next year! Would highly recommend "

"Great setting on the river. EV charger was a real bonus for us. The room wasn’t that big, but had everything we needed and was very clean. Comfortable bed. Our evening meal was fine and breakfast very good. A good stopover."
