"After a busy week touring Monteverde and Arenal, our stay at this house on Playa Negra was a much needed restful few days at the beach. Loved the proximity to the beach to pop over the street when we wanted as well as the relaxing sounds of the waves and ocean from the expansive balcony and all the delicious restaurants nearby. "The host lived on the property and was available for whatever was needed. he was friendly and provided us with bottled water. We loved the 3 bungalows. The curtains on the windows were not darkening curtains and did not allow for privacy. therefore you could see into the room when the lights were on. Beautiful place for a large family to stay. "This has been on of our favorite hotels we have visited in Costa Rica. Absolutely beautiful, from the design to cleanliness.. in the middle of the woods, close to the beach, such a nature picturesque place. The service was also amazing as well as the breakfast that was included in the price. The only thing was that there was no hot water. This was a bit inconvenient but all in all an amazing stay!"

"Its was terrible. The only highlight was the girl that was working at the office. The place is nasty. We were there for 4 night and they charged us double price ! My friend was staying there and he only paid a little amount. There music very loud and people a screaming at 8-9 am. Manzanillo is very far of puerto viejo ai you must have a car or rent a bike. Dont pay 100$ for this ! "
