"It was a little bit complicated figuring out how to contact the host through the VRBO site. When I did reach the host, I found them to be cordial and open to continued communication throughout our stay. This took the stress out of traveling to a location we had not previously been to. "We loved this house! It was VERY clean, and had an unique charming feel as soon as you walked through the door. The back story of the house is fun to learn about. The host has a book showing the remodel as a family project. The quality of the property and amenities the hosts leave for renters, show the love these people have for the home. "The pictures are accurate as seen on the website . However, the amenities left a lot to be desired. The six bath towels were good and the 7 washcloths were horrible as some had bleach stains on them and they were very thin. No hand towels were provided to dry your hands on in the bathroom. Nor were there paper towels in the bathroom for that purpose. The other rooms were clean but the bathroom needs a deep cleaning . No cleaning products were provided either. "

"Beautiful! Perfect for enjoying the outdoors -- several spaces from which to enjoy a lovely view of the river, take a short walk with the dog, etc. The house is spacious, clean and comfortable -- exactly as described. Very much appreciated being able to bring our dog. The property felt very private/secluded even though it's close to town. "Place was just as it looked in the pictures, very clean and stocked with all the essentials. The host was very quick in responding back to me. Neighborhood was nice and quiet even with being off of a main road. Only thing that became an issue were some bees and wasps out back...I let the host know about it and orkin was supposed to come out to get rid of them."
