"Lovely, well-appointed property, very clean and well-laid out. We cooked at home and the kitchen was very complete. We found that we didn't need the golf cart, despite renting it on advice of the reviews. Elderly grandparents and toddler were able to handle the walk and the sandy "beach" is nicer than the photo. Minor negatives: You must remove your trash at the end of your stay (the dump on our route was closed at that time) and the electronic lock was malfunctioning (could be user failure)....

"Perfect house for a group of 7 adults. Lots of comfy seating inside and out on the deck and dock. Well stocked with oil, spices, etc. Master bed was very comfortable. Other beds were OK. Dock area is small and not deep water. That didn't matter to us since we went in September. Wifi was very slow but we had 5 people trying to work so more our fault than the house. Overall, an excellent Lake Gaston rental. "

"The home is roomy and has everything in it that you would need from kitchen supplies to linens and towels. The outside area could use a little TLC but nothing that impacted our stay. Also a small one page note with directions for the TV, second oven and check out process would be helpful."

"This was my first experience with Vrbo and I’m happy to say the overall experience was great. The host provided all details and responded very quickly. The house and decor were very welcoming and comfortable and, everything was clean. And we enjoyed the fire pit that had everything already provided.
