Fun family time

Took our speedboat - much fun by all, both in and towing behind in various devices. Kids enjoyed the canoes, bikes, scooters, fishing & the ducks. The property was extremely well equipped.

A few days at Lake Macquarie

Loved it

Really enjoyed our stay.Our family of 2 adults and 4 teenagers had plenty of room to be together or have our own space.We lost wifi due to a freak storm but the Lucio tried to have this issue resolved for us- even when he was overseas-which we really appreciated.Plenty of space and it had everything we needed.

Lakeside chilling out

Our stay as two families with teens at “Chilling Lakeside” was truly relaxing (mid Dec 2024). The booking process was easy, and communication with the gracious hosts was excellent. The house was well-equipped including entertainment for the adults / teens, good books and amazing views with stunning sunsets enjoyed by the jetty and around the firepit. Pelicans coasting along the water and friendly little ducklings were a joy. The nearby Coastal and Co takeaways had the best burgers and our trip to Caves beach (35min) was lovely. It was a memorable and relaxing stay.

Wonderful relaxing holiday

This house is even better than it looks on the photos, it is an ideal place to go if you want to relax with a book or board game by the lake, go for walks around the suburb, fish, kayak or visit the beach. I went with a group of friends and all 8 of us absolutely loved it. It is the perfect place for anyone looking for a peaceful get-away.

Perfect Getaway with Fantastic Hosts!

We had an amazing stay! The location was perfect—close to everything we needed, yet peaceful and quiet for a restful getaway. The accommodation was spotlessly clean, and every detail made us feel comfortable and relaxed. Lucio and Julie were such great hosts, making sure everything was perfect for our stay. Annual Family Get Together

Lovely quiet neighbourhood with beautiful lake views out the back door. There is plenty of included things for guests of all ages like canoes, bikes, games for the kids etc. The host has thought of everything you may need for your stay. Highly recommend this property for your next holiday. Host is very accomodating and helpful.

Fishing fun and family

This property is even more gorgeous than the photos and seemed closer to the lake than i thought it would be. Its is spotlessly clean and extremely well organized. The booking and check in process was easy with great communication with Lucio and Julie. We were were all happy with our bedrooms which were spacious and clean. The house delivered fully with entertainment, we enjoyed playing board games and playing pool, cooking marshmallows by the outside fire, paddling on the lake in kayaks and canoes and hours of fishing with late afternoon being the best time to catch fish. A Woolworths is only 5 minutes away and we enjoyed visiting Norah Head lighthouse which is about a 15-20 minute drive. Thank you for a wonderful stay and we look forward to coming back soon.

Weekend getaway

Beautiful property right on the lake. Very relaxing and peaceful! The interior is very clean, new and modern. The backyard area is wonderful to hang out in. A family of ducks even came to say hi.

Perfect location to chill and relax with stunning sunsets over the lake.

From start to finish, there were no issues. Our hosts communicated everything we needed to know. We enjoyed the kayaks and pool table as well as the fire pit. The ducks were a bit of a nuisance, leaving a mess to clean up on the concrete. We thoroughly enjoyed our family reunion in such a comfortable house, the perfect place to relax.

Perfect family getaway

The process from A to Z was smooth, perfectly equipped property catering for the whole family: Canoes Bikes Snooker WiFi Etc..... A small point to be made, I would've preferred to know in advance that the house is a duplex, hence we felt we had to be ultra quiet because we didn't want the neighbours to complain from the kids noise in the games room at night etc.... Regardless, a perfect pet free (no pets allowed) property because my kids have allergies. I WOULD BOOK AGAIN

Comfortable and nice view

I went there with my parents and three kids. Each room has its own air conditioning which is perfect for us. The kitchen has everything we need. We spend most of our time playing pool game dues to the wet weather, couldn’t enjoy the jetty and the backyard. Everything is perfect except the sound insulation isn’t very good, as upstairs bedroom can hear clearly the noice from downstair. (Except the lake view bedroom) the TV in the lake view bedroom isn’t working and the Wifi signal isn’t very stable. But I will still give it a 5 stars rating as the location and every other things are very good!

Recharge your batteries

The property was very well appointed and ticked all of the boxes. There was so much to do, the children were busy all of the time. They really enjoyed a visit from a brush tailed possum who loved our avocados. We would love to have another visit and thank you very much for a wonderful holiday

Great location

We had a wonderful stay at the house and area. Plenty of fishing at backyard and lovely fire place. Close to bottle shop and petrol station also so easy to buy the firewoods. Overall house was well maintained and good working order. We didn’t find any faults and no one whinged about anything.

Relaxing weekend in beautiful lakeside setting.

7 of us good friends came for a kayaking weekend. The location was perfect and despite the rain we got out on the lake for a short time all of the 3 days. The firepit in the evening was nice to relax around and warm tired muscles.
