Great Place

Cute little cabin

The location was great! Just steps away from the water. Very peaceful and relaxing. The furniture was a bit dated, but gave it that nostalgic summer camp cabin vibe.

Vacation getaway

We stayed for four nights when we were in the area for a family reunion. The location was gorgeous and very convenient, close enough to Manistique if we needed something. The property manager was quick to respond to any messages we sent. Highly recommend! back porch

Relaxing at the Cabin

Had a peaceful, relaxing wonderful time at the cabin #1 on the Indian Lake as the back yard. Stepping out there was amazing and wonderful. Enjoyed God’s beautiful creations, the view, the sounds…… breath taking. Highly recommend it!!! 🥰🥰🥰

The property is charming with all the necessities. I was a great time relaxing. Wish we had spent more time here. 2 nights isn’t enough. We came here as children some 50 years. Great memories and amazing to finally make our way back. Thank you!!

Vacation at the Cabin on the Lake

This property was exactly what we wanted for our vacation. The extras were appreciated. A better furnace would have been welcomed when the outside temperature bottomed out in the 20s. Other than that, it was perfect for our needs.

Beautiful property

The 4 of us had a great time. The view was amazing, loved watching the sunset each night. The dock was a plus with our boat. The cabin was a cabin. They provided games also. I recommend a guide on how to use the TV. Also the toilet makes a really loud noise after flushing. We had a no night flush rule..with the obvious exception. Haha. Will definitely use this company again.

Don’t do it

Very run down. Mold. Rust. Fell on bathroom floor getting out of shower. Words can’t express. We left after one night. Fortunately our money was refunded.

Too Rustic!!

This property was in very run down condition for the money. The location on Indian Lake was very nice, but the cabin itself was very rundown. For example, the shower curtain rod was duct taped to the shower. One window in the main living area that didn't have a blind, had a piece of fabric thumb tacked to the wall to cover the window. For the price we paid, I expected a much nicer cabin.

Lake Cabin #1

Overall we enjoyed our stay. The cabin is rustic, but met all of our needs. We especially appreciated the window air conditioner as the cabin gets very hot and stuffy on hot days. Pros: The cabin is well appointed with all that you need to be comfortable. It has a beautiful view of the lake and a quiet location. Cons: The outside of the cabin is very worn. The front steps need repair as they bend significantly under weight. The toilet makes an alarming sound like it might explode when you flush it. We were assured that it was just water in the pipes, but I think at least a sign near the toilet should be placed to alert guests.

It was a safe location, however some serious effort needs to be made to repair not only the cabin but much inside. A bedroom door that was a hallow wooden folding door with the screws nearly pulled out... Didn't use that room, the entrance door letting a half inch of light in at the bottom and the world showing on the sides to let nonstop bugs in, or the 3000 table and chairs next to the lake that had spider eggs, webs and green mold on them.. Shower handles installed incorrectly, a sink with no vent as putrid smells coming in when water not running... Newer slider but door broken and some make shift handle screwed in place... Hot as all hell and a crappy window air conditioner in a window with curtains not blocking the sunlight making the whole place hot. Deck not to code, stairs scary, a may over roots and a hole at the bottom of the stairs... no ladder to get in water from dock... It was not the best and not worth what we paid. Won't be staying again.
