Peaceful beach getaway

Second year in a row staying at this property with our family. Cute and cozy old cottage right on the river in a quiet neighborhood and close to the beach, parks, and the downtown with shops and restaurants. Well priced and easy getaway!

Cozy home by the river

Cozy little place with all the things you need to enjoy your stay. With a view of the river just out of your front door! I would often walk with my dog down by the water in the evening and the north channel brewery is a short walk away as well if you want some food, craft brew and good atmosphere as well as TJ’s pub and other nice places down town! And just a short drive from the beach!

Great vaca cottage near everything

Cozy charming quiet cottage perfect for our family (and dog!) close enough to everything- the beach, the downtown, and right on the river. Easy and seamless communication with responsive owner. Perfect spot to enjoy beautiful Manistee and northern Michigan.

Pet Friendly Family Vacation

Our family had a wonderful vacation staying at this property. It is clean and spacious, and very much a "home away from home". It is a perfect spot between the beach and downtown Manistee. We loved that the property was pet friendly! The owner is easily accessible, with a very reasonable response time. We would definitely stay their again!

Perfect home base

We had a wonderful stay at this house. Great location if you have dogs and like the beach as North Beach (dog friendly) is literally a few minute drive. Manistee is a cute town with a few good places to eat. Safe and quiet neighborhood close to a grocery store. Very kind and attentive hosts.

We went up there for a job to do in Manistee. The place worked out great for me and my guys. Everything was very nice. Will definitely come here again if needed to.

This property was decorated super cute. Clean and just great. Close to lots of things to do. We say deer's sleeping in a neighbor's yard. Very Cool. Close to marina if you want to charter fish.

Great stay!

We had a great stay at this cute property. It’s close to the beach and downtown, easily within walking or short driving distance. The house itself is cozy. The whole process was easy and the owner was great at communicating. My only recommendation is to put in a porch or side-yard light.

Vacation in manistee

House is awesome. It did smell a little musty and the water pressure could have been better. Other than that it is a wonderful house and we did enjoy ourselves. The owner stay and I contact with us to ensure we were comfortable. We very impressed.

Good not great

The property was located in a shady neighborhood with lots of random people walking by at all times of the night. The listing stated river view and private patio but that is kind of a stretch. The accuracy of the listing misrepresented the actual rental. We had a great time fishing and did enjoy being walking distance to some shops and restaurants.

Good location spot with plenty of space

When we first pulled in I was confused about the parking but the owner responded immediately and clarified it for me. The yard is very small but there were plenty of other areas to walk my dog. The house was nice and had plenty of space. The stairs to the upstairs are very steep but no problem for adults, maybe wouldn’t be safe for children. There is a bedroom on the main floor tho so families could still stay here. Living room and kitchen are spacious. Bathroom is very nice and spacious as well. Great place to stay!

Parking on the road in front of rental , bedrooms small , beds were not comfortable. Air conditioning great on main floor. Going upstairs was not great for us , it was not a place for seniors and we were all over 65 . I could see it fun for younger renters. Water pressure still a concern but we got used to it, you just need to wait and few minutes. Good location close to everything. Decorating very nice , I see getting the outside steps fixed and that was being addressed. Maybe if they can put in a washer and dryer. You gave a winner for young people renters, older people don’t want to go up the stairs. So we he ad to sleep on the couch’s , going up the stairs too dangerous for us.

Perfect

Chad’s space was absolutely perfect for us and our two pups! The living quarters were beautiful and the location couldn’t be beat. You have everything you could need to cook meals if you don’t want to eat out a ton, or there are lots of yummy options within a short walking distance. We walked downtown and to the beaches every day. You are a 2 minute drive to North Beach that is dog friendly which was amazing because our pups love the beach and water. The neighborhood was very quiet. There really isn’t anything negative to say about Chad’s place. We will definitely be staying again. :)
