Ladies trip

The place is exactly like the pictures and couldn't be in a better location. The kitchen was fully stocked with everything you could need. The bathroom could have had a few extra towels but we had enough. I cannot believe how quickly they responded to my one need. I gave 4 stars on cleaning because there were a lot of cobwebs on patio and in corners but thats just my ocd... I plan to rent again.

Beautiful View

We thoroughly enjoyed our 4 night stay. The condo was perfect. Nicely decorated, comfortable, well stocked, plenty of bedding and towels. Highly recommend a visit!

Incredible View

This was a fantastic property….the views were very relaxing to say the least. Were able to visit the beach only 5 minute walk for the gorgeous sunset or from the top floor of the condo. Although the outdoor pool had to be closed, the indoor pool was very large and refreshing.

Clean, nice location

We enjoyed our stay. The unit was clean and in a convenient location for walking or driving to areas of Manistee. Walking the marina was especially nice. The beaches were beautiful. With the windows open, we could hear voices at the pool, but that did not bother us at all. The only negatives about the property were a clogged master bath sink drain, and a steady drip of water from the master bath tub. Neither were major issues and we brought them to the attention of the property manager. The steadfastness of the 4 PM check-in time was a bit annoying. The listing makes it clear that there is no ability to get in earlier except for paying a fee. Even major hotel chains usually let guests check in early if the room is ready. Would’ve been nice to have that option.

Very nice place, exactly as advertised

We stayed 5 nights, there were 3 of us. My partner and I were very comfortable in the upstairs bedroom. My adult son slept on the fold-out sofa bed (twin size), it was not super comfortable but the foam mattress we found in the upstairs closet helped make it more comfy. The pull-out full-size sofa bed was even more uncomfortable so he used the twin bed. We had to search a bit to find the bedding for the pull-out beds, but it was in one of the closets. The kitchen was all operational and good. The washer-dryer is a single combo machine and you can't just use the dryer, but that's a pretty minor complaint!

Perfect for a Getaway!

My husband and I stayed here for a five-day stretch to celebrate our anniversary. It was the perfect set-up for us! The kitchen is very small, so cooking and baking is slightly limited, but the owners have done a good job of making sure all the necessities are there. Other than that, we had a fabulous time. We loved all the big blankets around as it was cooler the days/nights we were there. Thank you for your hospitality. We love Harbor Village and will definitely return!

Pool was not usable

We were looking forward to using the outdoor and indoor pool. The smell of chemicals in the indoor pool made it impossible to use. The outdoor pool was closed the entire 3 days.

Super stay

We greatly enjoyed our stay at this property! Harbor Village was an excellent location to relax and so close to the beach! I enjoyed running around the marina each morning. The property was very clean and exactly as expected! We would love to stay again and may bring our kiddos next time!;)

Nice location and amenities

We found this condo to be in a good location with good amenities. The development is an easy walk to downtown Manistee through a residential district, and is right alongside the beach. It was easy enough to drive in and out when we had a day trip. The condo is up a flight of stairs, very sunny, facing west, right over the outdoor pool, so it has a pretty view of the harbor. By having the bedroom on the second floor, it was easy to allow a sleepy spouse to nap, while the other is cooking or watching TV. The kitchen has everything you need. There were only two of us so we can’t comment on the pullout beds, but with the half bath on the 1st floor, it would be convenient for a small family, or a second couple. There is a single unit washer and dryer which works fine, but takes a bit longer to process. We used the indoor pool which is large and the fitness center. We got there off season and it was quiet, things definitely liven up around Memorial Day especially at the outdoor pool.

Manistee 9/2022

It was a fantastic place to stay, great location, gorgeous view with phenomenal sunsets!! (We’ve stayed in quite a few places) Just a few suggestions for the owners: * there should at least be a dish cloth or 2 for the kitchen, for cleaning/wiping the counters etc. * the ceiling fan (especially in warmer months) should be checked to make certain things are in working order so you don’t have to call maintenance after hours. * most frustrating was the fact that we were not made aware that the address was indeed our unit number. (Again a call made after working hours) We scrambled & drove around trying to figure out where we were supposed to be. All-in-all, we would come back again easily….. hopefully with the suggestions in place!! Thank you for opening your place to all!!

Nice little condo

Perfect place to stay for a weekend away from the kids before school started. Short walk to the beach, and the indoor and outdoor pools are close by. Downtown Manistee is nice as well to walk and have a meal.

Family trip- enjoyed stay

This was a lovely condo, right next to both indoor and outdoor pools- both great amenities. Short walk to the beach. Downtown was cute with good restaurants and little river walk. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay.

Absolutely beautiful condo, the only thing we could not get the fan in the bedroom to work or the bedside clock. All instructions were very clear! The only thing we did not get was a “Check Out” email from VRBO. Excellent location! Thank You!

We loved our stay here. The condo is well situated in a beautiful community. Had to call for help twice, but response was quick! This is such a beautiful place, with awesome amenities and beautiful beach. Condo is full of comfortable furniture and bedding!

Great lakeside getaway

Terrific condo that is a short walk to Lake Michigan via a private access path. Albeit small, the unit is well-appointed (including a balcony with waterfront views), and its layout makes it seem more spacious. In addition, we give our host/property manager six stars for being extremely responsive and communicative!

Cute clean and comfortable. Only issue we had was that the hot water ran out. Only 1 very short shower could be had at a time. Great views of sunsets and Lake Michigan.

Great condo! Excellent location!

We had a great time in Manistee! The condo was just right for the two of us. The balcony off the breakfast nook was a nice spot to enjoy our morning coffee. Check-in was easy. Everything was clean and well-maintained. We walked once and drove another night to the beach to watch the sunset. Met some very nice people and their dogs on the beach! The town of Manistee was nice too!
