Hostels en Mandalay

"Clean modern hotel, great staff. Sometimes they couldn't understand me, but then they would call in someone who could speak better English. I stay here four days, took a trip the staff helped organize and then returned to this hotel till I left Mandalay. I started walking around the area. Stores and restaurants were close so I could avoid the healthy taxi prices when I was hungry. The road is torn up in front of the hotel but I feel sure it will be reapaired eventually. Try the shaved ice cream...

"For me It just cuts the deal: clóse to the sights, comfortable and very quiet room. Very friendly staff although not all of them speak English. Breakfast just correct. Note that Mandalay is no city for pedestrians: no sidewalks and every time you cross a street you flip a coin for your integrity. Surroundings of this hotel are no exception to that."
