My stay was delightful. The Innkeeper who assisted us during check-in was gracious and hospitable. My daughter and I chose to have breakfast in our room, and it was presented in a charming picnic basket. Upon check-out, another welcoming lady was present at the front desk.
My only concern is that the gentleman (presumably the owner or general manager) did not acknowledge my daughter and me, despite making eye contact. There was no 'good morning,' no offer to hold the door, nor a simple inquiry about our stay, which would have been small yet considerate gestures of appreciation, particularly for a property that promotes itself as a luxury inn.
