Poor customer service
When we arrived the person at the check-in desk could not find our reservation even though I had my confirmation in hand. She said she found us in the computer for the previous day but we hadn't showed up (even though our confirmation showed we arrived on the correct date) We couldn't hear much of what she was telling us because she had a radio in front of her that was playing very loud, We asked her several time to turn it down.A room was finally found for us. In the middle of the night, there was no water coming out of the cold water faucet at all. When I plugged in my hair dryer, half the room lost power, although I had not turned the dryer on yet. This is a very unsatisfactory hotel, and I would not recommend ti.

Not worth it
I recently arrived for a mid-Summer family reunion in Manchester, VT. The town was charming but the Inn at Willow Pond was old and run-down. Since my extended family was with me, we actually had 5 rooms in total allowing me to survey additional rooms. It felt to me like no one has paid attention to upkeep of the facilities in 5 years. Upon arrival, the very large room (size of a NYC 1-bedroom apt minus the Kitchen) had a really bad smell. It smelled like an unbathed dog mixed with must and mold. I mentioned this to the front desk, who apologized and said unfortunately they were full-up for the weekend, so i couldn't switch rooms. The clerk who was very sweet and couldn't have been nicer verified my suspicion and said indeed the guest before me had several dogs. Why not clean the room properly or use something like Carpet Fresh or Glade Plug-ins to mask the smell. I actually purchased Glade plug-ins, which worked. The carpet in the room was very old and clearly musty. Although the a/c units were at least 30 years old, they did work except that the carpet around them was wet in the morning. I suspect the units leak which leads to the moldy smell. The price of the room was VERY expensive but not out of market range. For the record, I paid almost $500 for 2 nights. I will only say staying at a Hampton Inn is like staying at the Four Seasons compared to this place. I won't be back.

Convenient Location!
I was so surprised about our stay at here. We stayed in the one bedroom suite and it was so nice and clean. It’s very cozy. The location is awesome, it’s close by restaurants. And very scenic and serene. I would definitely stay here again. Biggest plus, it’s also pet friendly. It only took us 20 minutes to get to the mountain. The guy at the front desk is so nice and friendly too.

Spacious, clean, friendly
For the price, I must admit I was expecting a little more luxury. Maybe some fruit and hardboiled eggs to go with the continental breakfast of bagels and muffins would have been a nice addition?

We loved our stay at the inn and manchester as a whole. It is a beautiful area and the people are so friendly. We will be back.

Cozy, romantic Vermont Inn
The Inn at Willow Pond is a comfy Manchester inn straight out of a Bing Crosby movie. The staff is both discrete and eager to please. Rooms are very spacious, especially the connecting suite rooms.

A room with a view
Beautiful view of Bromley Mtn from our 1-rm suite. Really appreciated all of the handicapped accessible accommodations I saw. Lovely staff to chat with, clean room/grounds, dog-friendly. Really enjoyed our stay.

Close to Town and restaurants
The Inn needs to be painted and maintained better. In our first room, the television was not working. My husband wanted to watch the hockey and baseball game. We called the front desk and the innkeeper came right over to try to fix and then promptly relocated us to a bigger room. We could not get Wi-Fi and only a few channels worked on TV. We could not unlock the back door to sit on the porch. There was only someone at the front desk until 9:00 pm, so if you lost your key not sure what we would do. Also, for $198.00 a night, breakfast shoud be included.
