This was the most well-stocked house we've ever rented. It's like being in the comfort of your own home. Lots of herbs and spices in the kitchen and all sorts of pots and pans that make it possible to cook anything. Great location and clean.

Property was as described and very clean. The kitchen had plenty space for food and drinks and was well-equipped with everything we needed to prepare meals for our group of nine adults. The pool table in the finished basement got plenty of use and we also used the yard for games we brought. Would definitely recommend.

Excellent Stay

This is our second time renting the Greybourne house. The house is just as amazing as we remembered it - spacious, clean, well stocked and located within a short drive to Stratton, Okemo or Killington. Allison is a great host - very responsive and helpful. We can't wait to return again next year.

Ideal Family Reunion Location

Our group of 9 senior adults spent a very enjoyable weekend here. This house was an ideal location for our family reunion. It was extremely clean, very well-furnished and kept in top-notch condition. All of the beds were comfortable. The house had a very nice balance of private spaces (6 bedrooms) and common areas (spacious den, beautiful dining room, comfortable game and TV room in the basement and a large, well-equipped kitchen. The kitchen had all of the pots, pans, cutlery, utensils, appliances, dishes and serving items that we needed to prepare a traditional Thanksgiving dinner. We were all comfortable there and never felt crowded. The building manager was excellent. She proactively communicated with us on a regular basis and promptly responded to the few questions we had. The only negative was the unexpected traffic noise that came from the two major roads nearby. All in all, we could not have asked for a better site for our annual gathering.

Family Trip for a wedding

Absolutely the best house to rent for a large group! My family stayed her for a wedding and it was perfect. Everyone had their own space and plenty of space for us to hang out with each other! Beautiful home and incredible landscaping!! Property manager, Allison, was so responsive

Extended family bonding

A large group of us stayed at the Greybourne House for a wedding located nearby. It was fantastic! The game room was great place for the cousins to hang out and enjoy each other. The grounds were beautiful and we all enjoyed brunch on the patio before the wedding. The bedrooms were very spacious and each one had an extremely large private bathroom! The entire house was immaculate! We would definitely stay there again.

Beautiful spacious house

We had a large group and we all enjoyed the house so much. Each bedroom had it's own bathroom en-suite and everyone appreciated that. The living room was the perfect size for all of us to spend time together and the kitchen was well stocked with cooking and eating utensils. The property was beautiful and well maintained after all the snow that had fallen. The check in and our process was very easy and we had an overall great time. We will definitely be looking to come stay here again next time we have a large group or multiple families.

Vermont Family Weekend

Visited Manchester last weekend with the family and loved the area and our stay at the Greybourne House. It is perfect for a family get together-- it has everything you would need. We will definitely come back for another visit.

Fantastic Home for Family & Friends

This home goes above and beyond your expectations. It is beautifully decorated with lots of space. I would love to take the kitchen home with me. It has two large refrigerators and every dish, pot, or piece of equipment you might need. The dining room is gorgeous and even has beautiful china. There are huge TVs everywhere. The outside area and patio surrounding property is stunning. I can't say enough about this property and know if you stay there, you won't be disappointed.

Wonderful Stay

Greybourne House was a fabulous place for the 14 of us to spend a week together. The house had it all - room to spread out, comfortable beds, a well-equipped kitchen, beautiful outdoor spaces - plus it was extremely clean. Allison has thought of everything to make this a perfect vacation spot. The location was great for exploring the Manchester area with its many hiking trails, shops, restaurants and historic sites. 5+ stars for sure!

Great for a weekend getaway

We very much enjoyed our stay! This is the perfect place if you want the whole family to get together or host multiple groups all under one roof. The house was exactly as advertised and had everything we needed for a long weekend. The only two things that weren’t so great were that the basement area was a bit dirty (some bugs on the walls and accumulated hair on the rug) and the next door neighbor was smoking weed on a semi-regular basis (you couldn’t smell it inside the house but we got a good whiff upon taking our dog outside). All in, we would likely stay here again if we’re in the area and the house is available.

Great house, Great location!

This was the perfect property for our group of three families(6 adults, 7 kids ages 6-11) on a ski trip. The house is very well appointed, in excellent condition, and the layout with bathrooms in each bedroom was fantastic! This property is also perfectly located between the ski mountains and Manchester. We were all so happy with this property that we already booked it for the same week next year! Thank you Allison for providing such a comfortable stay in the perfect location!

All That and More

Having rented some really nice VRBO's over the years, even the best of them showed a bit more wear than advertised. Not this place. It's a former B&B and not some old creaky place, but rather a beautiful, modern property with comfortable, crowd pleasing furnings throughout. The kitchen is amazingly well stocked and the whole place demonstrates pride of ownership. The owner is completely accessible, though there were no worries with our stay. We'll be back, for sure.

Wonderful long ski weekend at this lovely home

This house was perfect for our group of 4 families (including adults and kids ages 10-13). The location was ideal for skiing (we went to Bromley and Stratton), as well as local restaurants and shopping. The house was clean and welcoming and we enjoyed the gift basket from the owners. The rooms were well appointed and the beds were very comfortable. The kitchen was very well stocked for a large group like ours. Would definitely recommend this home to others!

Thanksgiving in Manchester

We have now stayed at Greybourne house two years in a row, and it is a great house, beautifully furnished which is perfect for a large gathering of friends and family! The 6 bedrooms each has their own bathroom, and the common spaces are large and comfortable. Plus there is the huge basement that has a large TV viewing area (lots of seating), plus a game table and pool table, plus a bar and bathroom, so a subset of the larger group can gather down there for fun and games! And Allison is a great host, very available and responsive! We'll be renewing again for next year, which says it all!

Wonderful Property!

Everything is well appointed and thought out even down to the smallest detail of the guest book. The kitchen and dining room are equipped with everything you might ever need for a large group. Bedrooms are quiet and comfortable. Enjoyed the history and legends of the area on the plaques throughout the home. Our group of 10 was very happy with this home and the location..

The perfect place for a large group!

I traveled to Manchester with a group of lifelong friends and their partners for a wedding in nearby Dorset. Allison’s home was the perfect place to host our weekend! Everything about our experience was amazing - including the location, space, cleanliness, amenities, communication, and check in/out process. I would highly recommend booking for a large group and hope to return someday!
