The house, setting and amenities were beautiful and extremely enjoyable for a 3 day 5 family vacation. The beds were comfortable, and the abundance of table space and comfortable seating indoors and out were conducive to very enjoyable meals and time spent together. Our hosts were very kind, responsive and helped ensure a delightful stay. They also aided us in securing the assistance of a very able cool and assistant for our time at the residence.

Wonderful family home

We had an excellent stay. The house was great and the pool was perfect. We used the paddle board and kayak. The water was wonderful. We highly recommend.

Everything we needed. A lot of room. Two kitchens became handy. There were eight of us and we all had our own bed and rooms with more left over. Half of us could go to the bathroom at the same time.The pool was well maintained and refreshing. Would go back tomorrow if I could. The lagoon is a little farther down the hill than picture shows. Howler Monkeys could be heard most mornings and evenings. We ask for insect spray for the ants. What do you expect in a beautiful rain forest. It was supplied quickly. The geckos were fun to watch. If you drive, the roads are good but hazardous. There will be pedestrians in the road and cars and trucks parked on the road. Anticipate what the motorcycles are going to do. They are all over the place. If you are going to drive, be sure to get a google map link to the house from the host. It would be impossible to find the house without it. Google map works well in Nicaragua. The Masaya volcano is closed because of recent eruptions. Thank you Mark and Brenda for a wonderful say.

Best vacation ever

We rent this property from February 29 until March 3rd. This was the best vacation ever. I’m going to start with Mark the host, we reached out to him not once but few times and he responded in less than 3 minutes. Best communication I had ever experienced with any host . Wilmer is the guy that waited for us at the property was super attentive and always answer message and calls. Wow the property is something out of this world . We were breathless when we walked into to this house, the scenery of this beautiful house , the sunsets , the sunrises were something you cannot describe. All the guests asked us for the contact information. The house have everything that you will needed both in the kitchen and in the bathrooms. Plenty of table game, kayaks everything . We will definitely come back.

Big family gathering

The pool is very nice, and the lagoon is great for kayaking. We had a big family gathering for a couple of nights and we all enjoyed the immense space available. Enjoyed talking with Wilmer and the home owners are very accommodating. We will recommend this place to family and friends!

Comfortable retreat with excellent view

Mark and Brenda's place was fantastic and our whole family (group of 11) really enjoyed ourselves. The house is modern and well kept. The ACs in every room worked great and are a must as Laguna de Apoyo is pretty hot & humid. The hosts also made sure to provide plenty of drinking water, TP, and trash bags for the whole stay, something that might seem inconsequential but is really helpful. WiFi speeds were great, kids enjoyed having Netflix for downtime. We had plenty of towels provided which were very appreciated as the kids spent most of the day in the pool. Wilmer, the caretaker on-site was so friendly, helpful and not intrusive. He volunteered to buy fruits for us when we asked where to find a local fruit stand. A true gem. The high ratings for this place are definitely warranted and I would not hesitate to recommend this place to another group.

Amazing House for the whole Family

Family coming to town for a vacation? You need to book this place. it was perfect for our large group gathering and had more than enough room for the 12 adults and 4 kids we had. everyone loved the pool and lake access we had. We also hired the local cook that was recommended by the owner and she made great food each day. We will be back soon.

La Laguna Incredible!

Our stay at La Laguna was wonderful. It definitely exceeded my expectations. The house was was and cozy with plenty of space. The outdoor surroundings are out of this world. I will definitely stay here again.

Amazing property.

This whole trip was a roller coaster of emotions. We rented the property to celebrate the wedding of my brother. Unfortunately we got sick with covid and we had to reschedule 2 times until everyone tested negative. The Branchett family was super understanding and accommodating, they were flexible with us and allowed this experience to happen. The only downside to this stay is the wifi and reception are very slow. But given the location I’m sure it’s out of their control. Anyhow, we appreciate their help and are absolutely happy with how our stay was.

Exceptional Vacation Home

This house is marvelous. We were a group of 17 (family reunion, ages 6 to 72) and everyone had a wonderful experience. Beautiful two story house with everything you need, from kitchen utensils to life vests. View is stunning and the Rancho is huge, direct private access to the lagoon and a wonderful private pool. I’m extremely satisfied with this rental. We never ran out of purified water(they kept supplying it without us asking) Highly recommend. The host makes you feel welcoming and the housekeeper shows up within 10 minutes when called. Great experience with this house. Definitely 5 stars!

This place will take your breath away!

Perfect Spot on Apoyo!

Our group was thoroughly pleased with our stay at La Laguna. From our first correspondence with the lovely owners to the moment we departed, we were overwhelmingly happy. The house is perfectly suited for a couple of families, with plenty of bedrooms and bathrooms, as well as two kitchens and lots of outdoor space and sitting areas. Thanks to the caretaker, Wilmer, and the owners, we had everything we needed right down to beach towels, extra jugs of water, and ice. The view is spectacular, the pool, yard, patios, and palapa were divine and we were thrilled to have outdoor play toys from kayaks and boogie boards to a trampoline and a soccer goal and balls. The kids were in heaven and the adults even got a chance to rest. Perfect spot for families with kids. We will be back!
