  • A premiere slopeside 4 bedroom and 2 bath large condo just a short walk to the lifts at Mammoth Mountain's Canyon Lodge. Perfect for a large family or plenty of friends looking for a spacious floorplan close to Canyon Lodge! It features a completely remodeled full kitchen with granite counter tops and stainless steel appliances, large dining room table, card table in the living room, vaulted ceilings, cozy fireplace and large deck with private BBQ. The master bedroom upstairs has a queen and private bathroom. The second bedroom downstairs has a king bed, TV, ample closet space and access to the second bathroom. The third bedroom downstairs has two sets of bunk beds each with two twins (for a total of 4 twin beds) and private washer and dryer. The fourth bedroom also downstairs has a euro style bunk bed with a full on the bottom and a twin on the top as well as a twin foldaway bed. The Mammoth West complex has an outdoor pool (summer only), a large Jacuzzi and sauna - great for relaxing after a long day on the slopes! All guests receive complimentary full access to Snowcreek Athletic Club to enjoy facilities including indoor heated pool, steam/sauna, full fitness facility, yoga, pilates and cycle studio and more. The home has 2 levels inside, is non-smoking and is not pet friendly. This unit has a MAXIMUM OCCUPANCY of 10 (TEN) PEOPLE and comes with two outdoor parking spaces. Guests will be provided two parking passes. If more parking is required than what is allotted, feel free to call our office for alternative options. Please Note: This property makes use of surveillance equipment outside of the home. A single camera is located at the front door entrance. Our calendar is updated in real time. The little time was great!!

We got snowed out of mammoth ad only got one night there but did love the tie we spent. Great proximity to locations for east and drink and ski

This is a comfortable place and fit all 10 of us well. We love Mammoth Lakes. So many things to do so little time.

Amazing, laid back condo for 3 families

It's not upscale or recently renovated, but very convenient and practical for 3 families. (And that's what we were look.) It's walking distance to Canyon, and the view is great. Bunk room for kids was a huge hit. Would totally book this place again in a heartbeat!

Perfect stay

We loved our stay and the home was exactly what we needed during our long weekend stay. The home is super comfortable and the views are lovely. Only feedback is that the walls seem a bit thin. We had loud neighbors and we could hear them partying till fairly late! Regardless, we look forward to returning sometime soon!

Thanksgiving weekend

This trip was planned for 3 families and a friend. The communication from VRBO and property management was excellent. We had all the information we needed in advance. We requested more parking permits and they had it ready. The property is well equipped. Kitchen was fully operational. It was clean. Heating was controlled individually on different floors and rooms which was very convenient for us. We had a great stay and will be back.

The Mountain was great. The accommodations, not so much.

Rating Details: The property manager was more than helpful. The vacation rental was very dirty. I was more than happy with the location. I was satisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: MW 140 could have been awesome. The location is great. The view is spectacular. The space is arranged practically and appointed nicely and accommodates large groups well (we were three families). However, it was downright dirty. The obvious: Urine sprayed all over both toilets. Hair everywhere. Dishes were unclean (because the dishwasher was broken). If that wasn't enough, there was feces on the comforter in one of the rooms!!!! The not so obvious: If you move the beds or remove the cushions in the couch, you'll find all kinds of goodies from the paleolithic era. There was even a bra behind the dresser (it'll probably stay there indefinitely so check and let me know). The kitchen, although updated recently, still has the original pots, pans and cutlery from the 70s. The pantry and fridge were FULL of stuff. Some might think this is good (free condiments, right?) but it was quite annoying. We were even greeted by a massive pile of dirty towels placed right in front of our door. It was picked up the next day after we complained about all of the above and had the maintenance people come by again. Still working with the office on these matters...

Early May 2023 Stay

Rating Details: The property manager was more than helpful. The vacation rental was very clean. I was very happy with the location. I was satisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: Overall, at the price point, this is a great deal for a family with kids and a dog. Don't expect some extravagant, five-star luxury feel; but rather, expect a more rustic, family-oriented vibe. At times, I felt like I was reliving my 80s / 90s. Details below.Outdated - the cabin is generally on the older side - a lot of wear and tear on the stairs down to the front door entrance. Most of the furniture are outdated, especially in the kitchen. The curtains and sofas in the living room are on the older side. Spacious - there is a lot of space in the cabin. It's two floors, but plenty of room for the kids and dog to play on the top floor.Location - I appreciated how the cabin is situated at the top of the hill so there is more privacy. It also gave close access to the basketball courts and tennis courts.Comfortable sleep quarters - the beds, including the bunk beds, are really comfortable.

Unit was very comfortable and clean and came with more amenities than listed such as a blow dryer. There was also a communal section where previous guests left items such as salt, pepper, etc. which came handy. Loved that the listing could fit a large group of people with all real beds (no sofa beds). Would definately stay here again. Only downside was the battle to get up to the top of the hill during a snowstorm. Even with chains...not an easy task.

Family and Friends Vacation

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: Overall I'd rate our experience with Mammoth West 140 as good. The condo has an awesome location, it was clean, parking in front of the condo was nice, the view of the mountain was incredible, the kitchen was nicely appointed. But I do have a few complaints to add. No internet service made having to work during my stay a hassle. In 2016, who doesn't have wi-fi available to your guests? Condo 140! The living room sofa and chairs are exceptionally uncomfortable. Management policies of no early check-in or late check-out is a bit too rigid. 10 am checkout is much too early when there is no wiggle room, especially on a ski vacation with all of the extra equipment that needs to be packed. Overall I'd rate our stay 4 out of 5 stars, if the problems above were fixed this would be the perfect condo.

Location was only good thing

This is a very old condo. Everything seemed to be on the verge of breaking. Faucets, showers, toilets, furniture, etc. All needs to be upgraded. Refrigerator didn’t work the first day but did the rest of the trip. This condo served its purpose so I gave it a 3 and the location was pretty good. But I won’t stay here again.

Overall, I do not recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: This unit is old and tired. It’s on the top of the hill so it was a difficult walk each day to canyon lodge - had to rent a locker for $18/day so we didn’t carry skis. Wood deck in front needs some repairs, old couches and beds should be updated and towels were like sand paper. Only 2 baths made it very congested. Need new shower head in the lower bathroom. Amazing there was no recycling. Wouldn’t recommend staying in this unit.

Overall a great place to stay near the slopes.

While the furnishings were somewhat outdated, this places provides the perfect location and amenities if you’re hitting the slopes. We stayed here with 6 adults and 4 kids and had more than enough room.

Fantastic View

The location is great with a fantastic view of the mountain ~ was awesome grilling on the verada with the mountains right in the backyard! Close to the Village which is a plus. Kids loved the bunk beds. Well stocked fire wood as well. Some reviews noted that the couch was uncomfortable - we thought it was fine! large open area living space, great kitchen. We would definitely recommend this to anyone wanting to stay in Mammoth (this is unit # 140), and will definitely stay here again when we come back up!

I was somewhat dissatisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I do not recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: The location was great but condo needs a lot of work. The living room couches are old and should be replaced. Same with most of the mattresses. The downstairs bathroom doesn't lock, the fan doesn't work, and the door to the exterior part of the bathroom doesn't close. The thermostats throughout the house should be replaced. Given its location a general upgrade would make this a fantastic rental.
